Treat UVP figures as supplier recommended prices, not a MediaMarkt street check. The AGB limits sales to household quantities while stock lasts. Invoice is due 14 days after you receive the goods, by transfer to Universal Versand GmbH at Raiffeisenverband Salzburg, IBAN AT26 3500 0000 0304 6323, BIC RVSAAT2S, using your eight-digit customer number as the reference. Cards use Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check, and ProtectBuy; the shop reserves the pre-discount price, then charges the reduced amount when goods ship. If invoice or installments fail the check, cards and PayPal remain. You cannot switch a live order from invoice to PayPal. Invoices stay in Mein Konto for at least seven years and serve as the guarantee certificate.
Flexikonto Teilzahlung finances baskets up to 4,000 euros after a credit check, from 10 euros a month and up to 60 months. Interest is 1.65 percent per month (19.8 percent p.a.), compounding to a 21.7 percent effective APR. Deliveries are Austria only. Parcel shipping is 3.99 euros per order and address, free from 75 euros of merchandise after coupons, and always free to an Austrian Hermes PaketShop with no minimum. Bulky freight is 39.99 euros regardless of basket size; mixed orders pay only the freight fee. Split shipments do not add extra parcel fees. Vorteilsclub members get every parcel and freight delivery free. Site prices are euro online prices including VAT. Consumers get a 14-day statutory withdrawal from the day they hold the last item, plus a voluntary 30-day return if goods are complete, original-packed, unused, and undamaged. Returns posted in Austria are free; freight goods are collected after you call 0662/4485-8 or email service@universal.at within 14 days. Use the original return label on the delivery note. Request a new label in Mein Konto or by phone. Drop parcels at Hermes or Österreichische Post. Keep the drop-off receipt until the credit posts. Invoice buyers still owe the bill in 14 days even if they keep goods for 30; the refund posts after the return arrives. Custom-made goods are excluded. This shop fits adult private households in Austria who want one login for a sofa, a washer, and a winter jacket, and who can wait for warehouse freight instead of same-day store pickup. It is useful if you like invoice after delivery, Hermes evening pickup, or a documented three-year extra guarantee. Frequent furniture buyers who would otherwise pay 39.99 euros per freight drop should price the 30-euro Vorteilsclub. If you can live with the 21.7 percent APR, Flexikonto is available after the check, but paying the invoice in 14 days is cheaper. Contract language is German; save the confirmation yourself because the shop does not store the contract text.
Universal Versand is still a Salzburg catalogue house that learned to run an app. Use it when the sofa and the washing machine need to land in the same Austrian postcode with a paper trail; skip the Flexikonto APR if you can clear the invoice.

Does Universal Versand deliver outside Austria?
No. AGB section 6 and the live delivery FAQ both limit shipments to places inside Austria. Hermes PaketShop pickup is Austrian shops only, and freight cannot go to a shop. The XXL guarantee is also Austria-only if you later take a device abroad. Neighboring DACH shoppers should use the matching Otto Group brand in that country. Gift addresses inside Austria are allowed from the second order on any payment method, and on the first order only with card or PayPal. There is no gift-wrap add-on. If your recipient is in Vienna and you are in Graz, that is fine; if they are in Munich, it is not.
Is the 30-day return actually free?
For parcels posted inside Austria, yes: Universal pays return postage when you use the original label and a Hermes shop or Post branch. Freight items are collected in Austria after you book pickup with customer service. The 14-day statutory window still sits underneath; the extra days want unused, original-packed goods. Invoice customers must still pay within 14 days of receipt and wait for the credit. Locked phones, missing factory resets (a 50-euro wipe fee), unsealed hygiene goods, and custom pieces can fail. Should I pay 30 euros for the Vorteilsclub?
Join if you will place even one freight order this year: 39.99 euros of Spedition versus 30 euros of membership is already a saving, and members also skip the 3.99 euro parcel fee under 75 euros. The club auto-renews at 30 euros unless you cancel in Mein Konto; the product page points cancellations to universal.at/mein-konto/lounge. What if invoice or Teilzahlung is missing at checkout?
