Navimow Buying Guide: Robot Mowers, Network RTK, and the Fees After $999

The invoice is from Wilmington. The dock sits on your grass.

navimow.com is the U.S. storefront for Segway Navimow robot mowers. The contact page names the merchant as Navimow Inc., registered at 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. The same page lists an operational office at 1 Tara Boulevard, Suite 101, Nashua, NH 03062, and says the group is owned and operated by Willand (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. After-sales support is navimowsupport-us@rlm.segway.com and +1 833 913 1131, Monday through Friday 09:00 to 18:00 Eastern. The 2026 launch page says Segway Navimow started in 2021 as a Segway-Ninebot subsidiary.

What you take home is a battery robot, a charging station, a power brick, and an app map. There is no perimeter wire. Positioning comes from Network RTK where the postcode checker says coverage exists, plus cameras and, on some SKUs, solid-state LiDAR. The current residential rows are i2 AWD, i2 LiDAR, H2, and X4. Older i1 and X3 names still appear on the warranty table. Live U.S. prices for those leftover SKUs were unpublished on the tiles I opened. Terranox CM120M1 and CM240M1 sit on the commercial side. Street prices for those two were unpublished.

Buy it if you measured the lawn. Walk past it if you still want a Saturday push mower.

This cart is for a homeowner who already knows the acreage, not someone guessing from a satellite screenshot. You have an outdoor GFCI outlet, or you can add one, within cable reach of a dock at the lawn edge. You will check the Network RTK coverage box on navimow.com before you argue about antennas. You can live with a scheduled mulching cut, and you accept that blades are consumables. You want to stop paying a weekly crew or dragging a deck around 0.15 to 1.5 acres of mostly grass.

Skip the official shop if your grass sits in Hawaii, on a military address, or behind a P.O. box. The shipping policy refuses those. Skip it if the yard is mostly shade under a closed canopy and you refuse to run the postcode checker. Skip it if you need same-day pickup, a walk-behind you can return to a big-box desk, or a machine that will chew a hay field you let go for a month.

Skip residential SKUs if this is a paid commercial route. The limited warranty carves out commercial use on those units. Skip it if you will not sign for a high-value ground parcel, or if you planned to activate the robot and still treat the carton as unused for a change-of-mind refund.

Every product page I used printed the same two lines under the price: excluding taxes, shipping calculated at checkout. A launch page had shown markdowns on i2 AWD and i2 LiDAR earlier in the research pass. The live product pages I reopened that morning showed list prices, so I am treating the product-page numbers as the ones a buyer would actually add.

X430 and X450 both showed Sold Out on the X4 configurator. Garage bundles were still priced. That is a stock problem, not a price I can invent. If you need a full acre this week, wait for a restock or look at the H220 and accept the 0.5-acre cap.

The acre numbers are recommended working areas, not a promise that an L-shaped lot finishes in one afternoon. Navimow’s notes allow map storage around 1.2 times the recommended area, and every zone shares one map budget. i206 and i210 use the same three-wheel AWD layout with 9.8-inch off-road tires and a claimed 45 percent (24°) climb on a dry, obstacle-free test slope. i215 is the LiDAR sibling for a flatter, larger lot. H2 adds the GeoSketch map and a 100 W peak cutting motor. X4 is the big-yard machine: dual 180 W disks, a 17-inch cut, and a claimed 84 percent (40°) climb with 2.8-inch step crossing.

Run the postcode checker before you fight about a roof antenna.

Network RTK is the first checkout question, not a footnote. Where the coverage map says yes, the mower can skip a local GNSS mast and take a network correction through the app. Navimow states that Network RTK access is included and that the cellular data needed for that correction is provided at no extra charge. The X4 FAQ also calls NRTK a lifetime service. i2 AWD’s FAQ says the same for NRTK and separately promises one year of free 4G data.

I could not verify coverage for a specific ZIP from this desk. The site wants you to type a postcode. If the widget returns “not available,” you are in antenna territory or you should walk away. That gap is the one I will not paper over with a guessed county list.

X4 still ships a physical GNSS antenna for a local base instead of, or besides, the network feed. Optional, not a hidden kit, but it still needs sky view. Connect+ is a different bill. Product pages list remote app control, geofence alerts, and GPS tracking on a built-in 4G module, then price the renewal at $32.90 a year. X430 and H2 are written as one free year. X450 is written as two free years. After that, $32.90 is the published renewal. Do not mix that plan with free NRTK. One keeps the map honest. The other keeps the phone link and theft pings alive after the promo window.

Setup is an outdoor outlet and a dock, not a weekend of trenching.

The install people actually fail is power, not mapping. Official FAQs keep repeating the same advice: put the charging station at the edge of the lawn where you can reach a receptacle. You still have to stake the dock, run the supply, and keep the approach clear so the robot can dock without climbing a lip it was never rated for. After that, the current 2026 models advertise one-tap auto mapping instead of walking a boundary wire. You will still spend an evening in the app drawing no-go pockets around a trampoline, a garden bed, or a dog run. That work is on you.

Measure pinch points before the carton arrives. i2 AWD is listed at 21.4 by 15.1 by 11.2 inches. i215 LiDAR is 25.0 by 17.5 by 11.3 inches. X4’s body width is printed at 24 inches, and the FAQ says performance drops in weak-signal pockets, on slopes past 84 percent, or on obstacles taller than 2.8 inches. i2 AWD’s step claim is 1.57 inches in the footnote, not a curb. H2’s ride-on edge is as close as two inches from a wall, which is not under a deck. Alexa and Google Home can start or stop a job. H2 also advertises Apple Find My. None of that replaces a powered dock.

The price tile is not the last number on the receipt.

I could not pull a per-state sales-tax table. The product pages only say taxes are extra. Shipping is clearer on the policy than on the banner. The homepage still advertises home delivery in three to five days. The binding shipping policy says five to seven business days for mowers and accessories, ground only, FedEx or UPS on robots. Tracking can sit dark for up to 72 hours. Holiday volume can stretch both clocks. Those two delivery windows do not match. Trust the confirmation email, not the hero banner.

• Forward shipping: Navimow pays it on robotic mowers and on accessory orders over $99. Accessory orders under $99 are $9.99 outbound, subject to the checkout total for your address.
• Where it will not go: 48 contiguous states only. Hawaii is excluded. Rural P.O. boxes, carrier drop boxes, freight-forward mailboxes, and military addresses are refused.
• Optional Seel Worry-Free Delivery insurance is named in the policy. The premium was unpublished on the pages I opened, so treat it as a checkout extra, not a free add-on.
• Connect+ renewal: $32.90 per year after the free window (one year on X430 and H2 as written; two years on X450).
• Eligibility program: a 5 percent discount after verification for military, nurses, first responders, seniors 50+, medical staff, government employees, teachers, students, and alumni.
• Blades and cutting disks are consumables. Disks sit on a 90-day warranty line. Off-road wheels sit on a 30-day line. Plan on buying blades; do not file them as defects.

Risk of loss moves when the carton is tendered to the first carrier. That is a harsh sentence and it is in the policy. Navimow wants a signature on a robot. If someone in the household signs, later porch-theft claims are refused. If you know you will be out, the policy points you at FedEx Delivery Manager to hold the box. A crushed carton with a working mower does not create a free return. You still owe outbound-style shipping and restocking if you send it back for looks. Photograph every side of the box, then the unit, and report damage within 48 hours. Activate or use the mower and shipping-damage claims are closed.

Thirty days only works if the robot still looks unopened.

The refund terms on navimow.com give you thirty days from delivery to ask for a return. The same document wants the robot unused, tags on, original packaging, all accessories, and proof of purchase. It also says a used, damaged, or incomplete return can be refused or hit with a 10 percent restocking or damage fee. Non-quality returns pay return freight plus that 10 percent restock. Quality defects shift return freight to Navimow. Two clocks fight each other after approval: one clause says ship within seven days of the request, another says use the prepaid label within fourteen days of authorization. I could not reconcile those two sentences. Ask support which clock they will enforce before you cut a label.

Cancel before the box leaves and they still take a 5 percent processing fee off credit-card or PayPal refunds. After it ships, you cannot cancel. You refuse the delivery or you open a return once it lands. Do not ghost the driver and assume Navimow eats a rejected parcel; the shipping policy says they do not take that risk. Write navimowsupport-us@rlm.segway.com or use in-app chat. Third-party marketplace boxes do not come back through navimow.com. Warranty work is a different lane from a thirty-day change of mind. Mixing those two emails is how people lose both clocks.

A $999 i206 is a small-lot robot with a dock, not a cheap toy you unbox, map, and send back looking new. Buy it if you will leave the carton honest for thirty days or commit to the dock. Walk past it if you wanted a weekend rental of a robot and a full refund after the first cut.

The limited-warranty table I pulled on 26 September 2026 is more generous on the body than the marketing line “up to 3-year warranty” suggests, and stingier on the parts that wear. i206 AWD, i210 AWD, i215 LiDAR, H210, H220, X430, and X450 are listed at three years. Batteries and power adapters on those families are two years. i105 and i110, plus the older X315 through X390, also sit at three years if you still find one. H1500 and H3000 jump to four years on the unit and three on their packs. Terranox CM120M1 and CM240M1 drop to two years, with a one-year pack. Garages, Access+, VisionFence, MowGate, and most antenna kits are two years.

The clock starts on the later of original purchase or activation, and only if you bought from Navimow or an authorized dealer with a readable serial and intact seals. Email the support address with the receipt, the serial, and a defect description, or use live chat. Excluded: abuse, commercial use on residential SKUs, bad charging or storage, illegal use, unofficial repairs, and cosmetic wear. Blades are called consumable and are outside the policy. Cutting disks are 90 days. Off-road wheels, temporary fence, and some trimmer bits are 30 days. Disputes go to binding arbitration. Any claim must be brought within one year after the cause of action. That last line is easy to miss and ugly if you wait.

Who takes the payment, and who do I email when the dock is dead?

Will they ship to my state, and what does delivery actually cost?

Only the 48 contiguous states. Hawaii, military addresses, freight-forward boxes, carrier drop boxes, and rural P.O. boxes are out. Robots travel ground on FedEx or UPS. Accessories can move on FedEx or DPD. The carrier on your label is the one in the shipment email. Navimow pays forward shipping on mowers and on accessory baskets over $99. Under $99, expect $9.99 unless checkout changes it for your ZIP. Policy delivery is five to seven business days. The homepage still says three to five. I am not picking a winner; I am telling you the conflict exists. Signature is requested. Household signature kills a later loss claim. Optional Seel insurance is extra; the dollar amount was unpublished.

Do I have to install a yard antenna for RTK?

Not if the Network RTK checker says your postcode is covered. In that case the app can take a network correction and the marketing line about antenna-free setup is the real path. NRTK access and the cellular data for that correction are written as included, with a lifetime NRTK claim on X4 and i2. If the checker says no, you either mount the local GNSS antenna that X4 still includes as an option, or you pick a different mower. I did not get a county-by-county coverage table I could reprint. Unpublished means unpublished. Type the postcode. Connect+ at $32.90 a year is the phone-and-tracking plan after the free year or two, not a substitute for a missing RTK fix.

Which SKU fits 0.2 acre versus a full acre?

A tight 0.15-acre lot with roots and a mild slope is the i206 AWD job at $999. Step to i210 AWD at $1,299 if you are closer to a quarter acre and want the 5.1 Ah pack. A flatter third-acre with trees is why i215 LiDAR exists at $1,599; Navimow itself says that SKU prefers flatter, larger lawns than i2 AWD. H210 at $1,799 and H220 at $2,199 sit in the same mid-yard band with LiDAR plus NRTK plus vision and a color map. A measured acre is X430 money at $2,499. A measured acre and a half is X450 at $2,999. Both were Sold Out on 26 September 2026, with garage bundles still listed at $2,848.99 and $3,348.99. Do not buy down a size and hope the 1.2× map buffer saves a sloppy measurement. Zones share one cap.

Can I return it after I map the yard?

Probably not as a clean unused return. The refund policy wants the product unopened and free of use, moisture, sand, or install marks. Mapping, docking, and the first cut are use. A used box can be rejected or charged 10 percent plus return freight. Quality failures are the exception: Navimow covers that return ship. You still contact support first. Do not drop a raw carton on a porch and wait. Pre-ship cancels keep a 5 percent processing fee. After ship, you refuse delivery or you run the return. Marketplace sellers keep their own return desks. navimow.com will not take those units back under this policy.

What does the warranty actually refuse?

It refuses blades, late claims, missing serials, broken seals, unauthorized repairs, and commercial use of the home SKUs. It also refuses the story where you stored a wet pack in a shed all winter and then called it a factory defect. Body coverage on the 2026 home robots I priced is three years; the pack and adapters are two. Disks are 90 days. Wheels can be 30. You must have bought from Navimow or an authorized dealer. The remedy is repair or replace, their choice. Arbitration and a one-year claim-filing limit sit at the bottom of the policy. Read those before you assume a store credit will appear in year four.
