Groningen packs the Belgian order; Waagstraat is not a pickup desk
Gomibo.be is not a Brussels showroom. It is the Belgian website of Gomibo, the European brand of Dutch telecom retailer Belsimpel, operated by MobielWerkt B.V. The registered office is Waagstraat 1, 9712 JX Groningen, the Netherlands, with mail going to Postbus 3023, 9701 DA Groningen. Kamer van Koophandel number 02093714 and Belgian VAT identifier BE0541536350 appear on the About page. Pickup at that Groningen street is not offered. Belgian customers call 03 808 35 45 or freephone +32 (0)800 58 303. Staff take calls Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 21:00 and Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00 in English, Dutch, and German.
The company started in 2006, when Groningen students Jeroen Doorenbos and Jeroen Elkhuizen launched Metjelaptoponline.nl. Belsimpel.nl followed, and in 2008 both shops sat under MobielWerkt B.V. Gomibo as an international name arrived in November 2020 with Gomibo.de. Belsimpel announced the Belgian Gomibo.be launch on 18 May 2021, saying the Belsimpel name in Flanders would give way to Gomibo and that a French version would follow for Wallonia. That French tree now lives at gomibo.be/fr. The About page still claims more than 600 smartphones, own-warehouse stock, and delivery across Europe in one to two working days when stock is on the shelf.
Six hundred phones sit next to the case that actually clips on
The homepage checked on 17 September 2026 mixed flagship and mid-range unlocked EU units with Belgian shipping shown at zero euros. A Samsung Galaxy S26 256GB in black listed at 703 euros. An Apple iPhone 17 Pro 256GB in blue listed at 1,149 euros. A Samsung Galaxy A57 5G 128GB listed at 349 euros. A Nothing Phone (4a) 256GB listed at 483 euros. The same tiles advertised Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple AirPods Pro 3. Those figures move with stock, so read the live product page before you pay. The About page also names realme, CAT, Fairphone, Xiaomi, and Gigaset beside Apple and Samsung.
Accessories are not an afterthought. The cases catalog filters by device and stocks Apple, Samsung, Spigen, Mobilize, Just in Case, and OtterBox. On 17 September 2026 a Mobilize TPU back cover for iPhone 17 Pro listed at 12.95 euros and a Just in Case military-grade magnetic cover at 22.95 euros. Spigen Liquid Air Galaxy S26 Ultra covers started at 17.95 euros. Chargers on the Grab-n-Go aisle included an Apple 20W USB-C brick at 29.95 euros, a Samsung 25W USB-C brick at 19.95 euros, and a Samsung 45W USB-C kit with cable at 34.95 euros, all with free Belgian shipping as listed.
- Unlocked phones: Apple, Samsung, Nothing, plus realme, CAT, Fairphone, Xiaomi, and Gigaset.
- Wearables and audio on the homepage: Apple Watch SE 3, AirPods Pro 3, Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
- Cases by model: Mobilize, Just in Case, Spigen MagFit, OtterBox, first-party Apple and Samsung.
- Chargers: Apple 20W and 60W USB-C, Samsung 25W–60W, Google Flex 67W, OnePlus SuperVOOC, Anker Nano.
- Tablet covers in the same hoesjes tree, including Just in Case tri-fold cases for Galaxy Tab A9+.
- SIM-only and phone-plus-subscription bundles exist; monthly airtime is billed by the network, not Gomibo.
Filter Gomibo.be by your exact phone model, then add a matching case or charger and check the live Belgian delivery line before you pay.

This shop suits a Belgian household that already knows the model, or at least the size and brand, and wants unlocked stock plus a case cut for that chassis. It also suits someone replacing a cracked cover, a 20W brick, or earbuds without walking into a mall. Bancontact is free and instant. Accessories and standalone phones ship free inside Belgium. You get 31 days after delivery to return most goods, longer than the 14-day distance-selling floor. If you work from an office, the cart lets you set a different delivery address. If you are often out, PostNL letter post and Bpost or PostNL pickup points keep the box off your doorstep.
Skip Gomibo.be if you need to hold the phone, test the cameras, or negotiate a trade-in in person. There is no Belgian flagship, and the Groningen offices do not offer pickup. Skip it if you want a salesperson to migrate your old SIM at the counter. Skip it if your plan must stay bundled with a Proximus, Orange, or Base contract you already signed, unless you are only buying hardware. Skip it for sealed earbuds you intend to wear then send back; hygiene rules charge 12.50 euros for dirty earphones. Skip it if you need same-hour repair: warranty work goes through brand-certified partners and usually takes five to ten working days after they start.
Bancontact first, then PostNL or Bpost
Gomibo describes checkout as three steps: choose with the on-site comparer, tap the green order button, then wait for shipment mail. You pick a shipping method in the cart, enter your details, and pay. Estimated delivery on each product page updates when you change country, but the binding estimate is the one on your order-status page after payment. Keep a working inbox; track-and-trace arrives by email. If you ordered a subscription, the fastest path the shop names is Abonnement zonder gedoe, signing with iDEAL or SMS verification. Paper contract plus ID upload is slower. EU business buyers can request a 0 percent VAT invoice through the contact form if the delivery address matches the VAT registration.
The payment table on gomibo.be lists Bancontact, bank transfer, Visa and Mastercard, Maestro, and a Gomibo voucher code, all without a surcharge. Bancontact, cards, Maestro, and vouchers clear immediately. A transfer is free but waits one to two working days until ING Groningen sees the money, using IBAN NL12INGB0005726296 and your order number as the reference. Credit cards cap at 3,000 euros per order. One voucher applies per order and cannot be split. Refunds after a return go back to the original method within five working days after Gomibo has the goods. Monthly plan fees, if you bought a bundle, are paid to the network, not to Gomibo.
- Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro: no fee, instant; cards limited to 3,000 euros per order.
- Bank transfer to Gomibo Groningen: no fee, one to two working days, IBAN NL12INGB0005726296.
- One Gomibo voucher per checkout; product groups and expiry sit in the code email.
- EU business 0 percent VAT: send order number and VAT ID via the contact form.
- Change the delivery address only before dispatch; after shipment, use carrier tracking.
Letterbox accessories versus a parcel you have to sign for
Belgian shipping prices on the Verzending page are simple for hardware. A standalone phone is free by parcel and free at PostNL or Bpost pickup; letter post is marked not applicable because a handset will not fit a mailbox. Accessories are free by letter, parcel, and both pickup networks. Prepaid is free on all four. A SIM-only subscription is free. A phone sold with a subscription is the exception: 4.95 euros by parcel or either pickup point. Gomibo also states it ships free to EU countries. Norway, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are free by letter and 9.95 euros by parcel. Several regions are excluded, including the Canary Islands, Madeira, Greenland, and listed French overseas territories.
Carriers are PostNL and Bpost via DHL. On a weekday, order before 22:00 for PostNL next-day, or before 17:30 for DHL and Bpost next-day, when the product is in stock. Letter-post SIM-only and thin accessories take two to three working days and do not require you at home. Trust the cutoff printed on the SKU you actually buy. Stock labels range from 24 hours / in stock through 2–4 or 5–7 working days, weeks, sold out, and pre-order. If you miss the courier, a digital card tells you the next attempt or pickup shelf. A closed-hours declaration on the PostNL or DHL site can keep parcels off an empty doorway.
Thirty-one days to reverse it, once Find My is off
Gomibo extends the legal cooling-off period to 31 days from receipt of the last item, with no reason required. After you register the return you have 14 days to send the goods back. Registering through the account emails a free label and QR code. On cancellation the shop says it refunds the purchase price including standard shipping, excluding extras such as registered postage, within five working days. The formal withdrawal text also cites a 14-day refund clock from the notice, and Gomibo may wait until it has the parcel. Factory-reset the phone and, for iPhone, switch off Find My; otherwise the return is not processed.
The 31-day window only helps if the box, cables, and unused buds go back together. A worn earphone or an iPhone still locked to Find My is not a free reversal.
— Sophie Winters
Return rules expect the product as unused as reasonably possible, complete, with undamaged factory packaging and accessories. Earphones must be unused for hygiene; dirty buds trigger a 12.50 euro cleaning fee. Withdrawal does not cover subscriptions, custom-made goods, sealed hygiene items once opened, or sealed software once the seal is broken. If you bought a phone with a plan and only want to swap the handset, do not send the SIM card back. The legal notice goes to MobielWerkt B.V., Waagstraat 1, 9712 JX Groningen, email info@gomibo.be, or the on-site form. That is a Dutch warehouse process, not a Belgian store credit at a till.
Two-year legal cover still excludes the drop you caused
Every device sold through Gomibo carries statutory guarantee plus the manufacturer’s factory warranty. The shop describes a two-year legal period on phones and tablets. Factory cover, often one year, runs first; the second year continues under the legal regime. After a repair, remaining cover resumes until two years from the purchase date. Repairs go to brand-certified workshops using original parts. Manufacturing faults are free, including return shipping of the fixed unit. Drop, impact, pressure, water, dirt that affects function, and opening by an unauthorized third party sit outside guarantee. The workshop inspects the whole device and will not do a partial fix; user damage can produce a paid quote.
Register a repair in your account and you receive a free shipping label. Reset the device, disable Find My on iPhone, pack it, and drop it at a PostNL point. Average handling is five to ten working days after the workshop starts, longer if parts must be ordered, then one to three days back through Gomibo. Accessories carry at least six months of cover; smartwatch bands are excluded. Accessories under 30 euros can start with a photo through the contact form. Optional Tulip Assist insurance, described as available until two weeks after dispatch, covers the first three months free and is then monthly and cancellable; claims run through Tulip Assist, not Gomibo’s phone queue.
Frequently asked questions about Gomibo.be
Does Gomibo.be only deliver inside Belgium?
No. The Belgian site is aimed at Belgian shoppers, with Bancontact and Bpost pickup, but the shipping page lists delivery across the EU plus Norway, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. EU parcels are free; Norway, the UK, and Switzerland are free by letter and 9.95 euros by parcel. Several regions are blocked, including the Canary Islands, Madeira, Greenland, and listed French overseas territories. Change the country in the cart so VAT and delivery estimates refresh. For a Belgian door or pickup point, keep the country set to Belgium so the free-hardware table applies.
Can I collect a Gomibo.be order in Groningen or at a Belgian store?
You cannot collect at Waagstraat 1. The About page states pickup at the Groningen offices is not possible. Belgium has no Gomibo flagship listed on those contact pages. What you can do is choose a PostNL or Bpost pickup point at checkout, which is free for standalone phones, accessories, prepaid, and SIM-only orders. Phone-plus-subscription pickup still costs 4.95 euros. If you are never home, that pickup point is the practical substitute for a store. For returns you print the emailed label and hand the parcel to PostNL, rather than walking into a Belgian Gomibo counter that does not exist.
What if I return earbuds I already used?
Gomibo treats in-ear products as hygiene goods. The return rules say earphones must be unused. If you send buds that are no longer clean, the shop charges 12.50 euros for cleaning. The same fee appears on the repair page if dirty earphones go in for service. Sealed hygiene items can lose withdrawal rights once the seal is broken. If you only wanted to test fit, do not unseal a second pair. A phone, charger, or TPU case is easier to inspect and send back than an earphone you wore on a commute.
How long does a warranty repair take, and is drop damage included?
Plan on five to ten working days after the certified workshop opens the ticket, plus warehouse transit of about one to three days on the way back. Parts delays add time. Drop, water, crush, and dirt damage are outside both factory and statutory cover as Gomibo describes them. You then receive a quote and can refuse the repair, paying investigation costs if you are out of cover. Manufacturing defects are repaired and returned free. Do not open the phone yourself if you still want factory cover. Reset and Find My off remain mandatory before the label is used, or the workshop will not start.
Is there a French shop for Wallonia, and who answers the phone?
Yes. Gomibo.be publishes a French customer-service tree at gomibo.be/fr, matching the 2021 plan to serve Wallonia in French. Email support is described as multilingual. The phone line, 03 808 35 45, is staffed in English, Dutch, and German on weekdays 09:00 to 21:00 and Saturday 09:00 to 17:00. Have the order number ready. The fastest status check is still your account page, which customer service says shows the same live data they see. Press contacts go to press@gomibo.com; privacy questions go to privacy@gomibo.com. Orders themselves stay on gomibo.be, not on a third-party marketplace.
Open Gomibo.be, confirm the 31-day return line and Belgian shipping on your SKU, then pay with Bancontact if you want the warehouse to start packing the same day.
