Gemi rates this line at 2500 cubic meters per hour and 300 degrees Celsius, with a three-year warranty on electrical and structural parts. Keep it for a domestic wood fire with a tall stack, not a short restaurant flue. Product pages claim TUV, IQNET, and CE markings; download the live Spanish datasheet instead of treating a bullet as a building certificate.
The painted professional line is the usual step up for a short or hot stack. The Pro round unit (code PROF TONDO, EAN 8053017261072) was 419 euros against 757.80 euros on 20 September 2026, with thousands shown in stock. Gemi rates it at 3800 cubic meters per hour and 700 degrees Celsius, with a six-year warranty, a Class H motor, and a dark hammered epoxy finish. Stainless, Corten, and copper keep those airflow and heat figures. You pay for metal and warranty years. Confirm diameter extras on the live page; they change the cart.
Coastal salt and a visible roof line explain the premium skins. AISI 304 stainless was 499 euros square and 529 euros round, eight-year warranty. Corten matched those prices: 499 euros square (ASPIR/CORTEN) and 529 euros round (ASPIR/CORTEN/TONDO), also eight years. Every current extractor ships with a six-speed controller, described as an autotransformer. On speeds 1 and 2 the fan is meant to pull smoke without yanking heat up the flue. Speed 6, at the full 2500 or 3800 cubic meters per hour, is for airing a room, helping a stubborn light, or pulling ash; Gemi says that setting can speed combustion and dump more heat outdoors. Read “does not extract heat” as a low-speed claim. Mount the box away from the hearth. A power cut does not seal the pot: Gemi states that a stopped fan still leaves the natural flue open.
Installation is sold as a homeowner job with a video, not a factory visit. You work around the old cowl, set the extractor on the pot, clamp or screw it, then run cable to the indoor regulator. Extend outside the stack with 3 x 1.5 mm cable from the meter of lead already on the fan, or buy Gemi’s silicone cable in a steel sheath rated above 350 degrees Celsius if the run must go inside the flue. That cable starts at 30.50 euros as listed on 20 September 2026, in 5 to 30 meter lengths. Keep inner cable about a meter from the flame. If you stall, Gemi says to call an electrician or mason.

Pastor eléctrico kits are a second catalog
The same shop sells Gemi energizers and fence kits for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, and crop protection from wild boar and deer. This is farm gear, not a burglar alarm and not veterinary advice. The mains E/220 was 114.90 euros against 142.71 euros on 20 September 2026: 220 V, 50 Hz, up to 10,000 volts, maximum 5 joules, and a claimed 5 km of conductor when the fence is clean. The dual-supply B/12 was 164.90 euros against 298 euros, adding 12 V battery use, a 220 V adapter, and a 6-joule figure. A B/12 bundle with two rechargeable batteries was 264.90 euros and has shown sold out, so do not plan a remote paddock on that SKU until it is back.
Complete kits pair an energizer with conductor, insulators, earth stakes, lead-out cable, and warning signs. On 20 September 2026, ready kits ran from about 126 euros to solar packs above 340 euros. A cattle kit with a 220 V energizer, 500 m of 4 mm2 conductor, and 100 iron-post insulators was 142.62 euros. A wild-boar kit with 1,000 m of 6 mm2 conductor was 250.73 euros. What is in a complete electric-fence kit?
A Gemi kit is an energizer plus first-day consumables: a stated length and section of conductor, insulators matched to post type, earth-stake hardware, output lead, and warning signs. Posts are not always in the carton; read the SKU. Mains kits assume 230 V at the barn. Battery and solar kits assume a 12 V supply. The 5 km range on E/220 and B/12 pages is a maximum on a clean fence. Weeds, thin wire, and poor earth all cut it. Buy the kit when you want matched parts. Buy the energizer alone only if you already own compatible wire and insulators.
If the power fails, does smoke fill the room?
Gemi’s FAQ says a stopped extractor does not seal the flue, so natural draft can still run, including in wind. That is not a promise that a cold, short, or damaged chimney will behave. Keep working carbon-monoxide alarms, a swept flue, and a fire you can shut down if smoke appears. Do not use the fan instead of a damper, a clear flue, or dry fuel. How do 100-day returns work once the fan is on the roof?
The shop advertises a free 100-day return with pickup at Gemi’s cost and no explanation required. That is a commercial extra on top of ordinary EU withdrawal rights.
