Wybot EU Robotic Pool Cleaners for a Private Yard, Not a Contracted Public Pool

The Wybot EU store publishes a twenty-four-month warranty for the C2 and C2 Vision. Charger voltage and IP ratings were unpublished when I checked on 27 September 2026. Skip the cart if you run a public pool contract or need a human technician this weekend.

Wybot EU Robotic Pool Cleaners for a Private Yard, Not a Contracted Public Pool

The first thing I noticed on 27 September 2026, sitting on the Wybot EU shop with the refund page in one tab and a product page in the other, was not a robot climbing a tile. It was a warranty table with months in the cells — twenty-four for the two machines I was willing to name — and then a blank where charger voltage and an IP rating should have been. Unpublished. I wrote that word down. I am not going to invent a plug rating so this page looks finished. The relief, if I am honest, was the chart itself. Most gadget shops hide the term in a footer. This one put months next to model names.

The chart was public. The plug rating was not.

Wybot EU is the European storefront for cordless pool robots that you drop in, let run, then lift out and rinse. The site I opened is eu.wybotpool.com, reached from the affiliate click on this page. It is a shop, not a local service van. You pay, a carrier brings a box, you read a manual, you pair a phone if you want the schedule. Nobody from the brand is coming to your yard on Saturday with a hose and a clipboard. If that already feels wrong, stop here.

I kept the visit narrow on purpose. The homepage is a wall of machines and trade-show stills. Naming the whole wall would turn this into a catalog, and a catalog is not a buying note. I stayed with two: the C2 and the C2 Vision. Same family, same claimed pool size band, same published warranty length. The Vision version adds camera-led cleaning and costs more. I am not going to stack runtime minutes or suction figures. Those change by mode and by how full the basket is.

Who this shop is actually for

This is for a private backyard pool in a country the EU store will actually ship to. In-ground or above-ground. Tile, concrete, vinyl, or fiberglass — the C2 pages claim all four, and I have no independent lab note. You empty a filter basket. You rinse a fine mesh when the water has been dirty. You can wait several working days for a courier. You will use a phone app for a weekly schedule, or you will press buttons on the unit. You do not need a branded technician on the coping by Friday.

It also fits a household that already runs the pool's own pump and filter and just wants the floor and waterline scraped without dragging a pole every evening. A landlord who asked for liner measurements last spring, then left you to keep the water looking rentable, is the ordinary case I keep picturing. You are not staffing a municipal basin. You want the leaves off the floor before guests arrive next month, not a compliance log for an inspector. That is a different job.

Walk away if this is you

Skip the cart if you hold a public pool contract. A town basin, a school, a campsite that the public pays to enter, a hotel with a posted swim hour — those sites usually need a person who can sign a service sheet, pull a cover, and be on site when something fails. A mail-order robot does not replace that person. Skip it, too, if you need a human technician this weekend. I will say that again in plainer words: this is not a same-week call-out. The box is not a plumber. If the liner is torn or the pump is dead, buy a visit, not a robot.

  • You run a public or ticketed pool and a contract already covers cleaning staff
  • You need a human technician on site this weekend, not a carton in five working days
  • You live in Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Ceuta, or Melilla — the shipping page lists those as no-go
  • You are on a small or remote island with no mainland forwarding address
  • You expect the shop to invent a charger voltage or an IP rating that the product page left unpublished
  • You will not rinse a basket, and you want someone else to handle debris after every swim

I am not sure a shared villa pool under a rental company counts as private. If you have to ask the property manager whether a robot is allowed in the water, treat that as a skip until they say yes in writing. Some rental firms want their own crew. Some insurers get fussy about unattended devices. I am not going to guess your policy. Ask them first. The shop will still take your card if you ignore that advice. That is not the same as the purchase being a good idea.

Two machines, priced in words

On 27 September 2026 the C2 card showed about four hundred twenty-nine euros, with a higher struck figure near seven hundred. The C2 Vision sat near six hundred forty-five euros against a struck figure near nine hundred fifty. Tax was marked as included. Those are sale numbers on one day. They move. I will not pretend a screenshot is a contract. If you open the same pages next week and the digits have shifted, believe the cart, not this paragraph. I am also not going to paste article numbers or a watt stack. You do not need a spreadsheet to decide between a standard C2 and the Vision.

The practical split is cameras versus no cameras. Both claim floors, walls, and the waterline on pools up to about two hundred square metres. Both list a phone app, a few cleaning modes, a hook in the box, floating blocks, a power adapter, and a dual-layer filter. The Vision page talks about seeing debris and steering toward it. The plain C2 does the same shapes without that sales line. If your pool is a simple rectangle and you already walk the edge once a week, the cheaper one is the one I would open first. If the pool has odd corners and you hate fishing the unit out of a step well, the Vision is the one the shop wants you to stretch for. That is a fair reading of how they priced the pair.

Check the live C2 and C2 Vision cards, the twenty-four-month warranty line, and whether your country is on the shipping list before you pay.

How the buy actually works

You land on the European store, pick one of the two machines, and pay there. The click on this page is an Awin hop to that same store. Orders on the shipping page are said to process within two business days after payment, longer in a peak week. Couriers named on that page are the usual parcel firms. For ordinary mainland addresses the estimate is two to eight business days. That is not this weekend if you order on a Thursday evening. Pre-sale items, if a card is marked that way, follow the date on that card. I did not invent a faster lane.

Address changes have a short window. The shipping page says you may cancel within three hours to fix the address and place a new order. After the parcel leaves, they will not rewrite the label. Cancel later than three hours and return postage can land on you. A wrong address that makes the box vanish is your loss; they say they will not reship or refund that case. Inspect the carton before you sign. If it looks crushed, refuse it and write support_eu@wybotpool.com. That address is the one on the policy page, not a guess.

  • Confirm your country is on the EU shipping list, and that you are not in a listed exclusion
  • Measure the water surface on a quiet Sunday so the two-hundred-square-metre claim means something at your house
  • Pick the C2 or the C2 Vision only — ignore the rest of the wall for this decision
  • Pay on the EU store and save the order mail; you will need it if you return the unit
  • If the address is wrong, cancel inside three hours and place the order again
  • When the box arrives, check the outer carton before you sign, then keep the inner tray for the thirty-day window

Fees in words, including the fifty-euro freight cap

Outbound shipping is listed as free on the orders they accept. There is no separate handling line on the pages I opened. The price you see on the product card is the price they want for the robot, tax in. Promo lines on 27 September 2026 mentioned a gift card in the twenty-to-forty-euro range and a pair of goggles on some bundles. Promos vanish. Treat them as optional, not as part of the machine. Payment methods are the usual card and checkout options; I am not going to list every badge on the footer. If your bank holds an international card check, that hold is your bank, not a Wybot fee.

Returns are where money leaves your pocket. Thirty days, undamaged, all accessories, original packaging. You start the return with support, send a photo that the unit and the box look intact, and wait for an address. They say they reply inside a working day. Refunds go back on the same method after the warehouse inspects the return, often three to five working days there, then another three to ten at the bank. Buyer pays return freight unless they agree the unit is defective. If you spend more than fifty euros sending it back, they refund fifty euros of that postage and you keep the rest of the bill. Warranty work after day thirty still has you paying the inbound leg; they cover repair and the outbound replacement shipping. Custom or public-pool equipment is listed as non-returnable. Free gifts are not covered.

Limits I would not argue with

A robot is a floor-and-wall helper. It is not the pool's circulation system. The C2 FAQ on the live site tells you to run the main pump first if the water is soup. A first spring clean with a winter of leaves will clog a fine filter. Their own pages say to run a coarse pass, rinse, then fit the fine mesh. That is housework. If you wanted a device that never asks you to stand at a tap, this is the wrong object. Surfaces beyond the two-hundred-square-metre claim will need extra cycles. I did not verify that claim with a tape on a municipal tank.

Charger input voltage was unpublished on the C2 and C2 Vision pages I opened. So was an IP rating. I am repeating that because people ask both questions in the same breath, and guessing either one is how a review goes bad. The box includes a power adapter. Confirm the printed plate on the adapter when it arrives, or write support before you pay if your outbuilding uses an odd supply. App pairing wants Bluetooth on before you hunt for the unit. Units can ship with a hint of factory water because they test them wet; the FAQ says that stain is normal. None of this is a technician on your deck. None of this is a contracted public-pool crew. If you needed that crew this weekend, you still need them.

I would buy a C2 from the EU shop for a private yard I can measure and wait on. I would not buy one to replace a public-pool contract or a technician who has to be there this weekend.

Sunday tape, then the first run

The ordinary picture in my head is a Sunday with a tape on the coping because the landlord once asked for liner length and you still have that number on a note on the fridge. Convert it to square metres before you believe the two-hundred claim. Clear the big debris with a net first. Put the unit in. Let a cycle finish. Fish it out with the hook in the box. Empty the basket at the grass, not over the skimmer. Rinse. Charge it on the patio, not in a packed hallway where a wet brick of plastic will trip someone. That hallway detail is not poetry. It is how boxes get stepped on.

If you use the app, set a weekday cycle and leave Sunday for the rinse. The C2 pages talk about a handful of scheduled runs each week, not an always-on station. The unit parks itself near a wall when the battery is low so you are not wading to mid-pool. After the first dirty week, look at the fine filter. If it loads up fast, you are still in spring muck and the coarse basket should do more of the work. Keep the original tray. The thirty-day window is useless if you have already thrown the foam and the carton into the communal bin. I have seen that happen in a packed hallway too.

Checkout questions I would actually ask

Does it ship to Ireland? Not according to the shipping page I read on 27 September 2026. Cyprus, Malta, Ceuta, and Melilla are on that same no list. Mainland France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and a long list of other EU states are on the yes list. Major islands such as Sardinia, Sicily, Corsica, and Palma de Mallorca are called out as supported. A tiny island needs a mainland forwarder or the order can be cancelled. I am not going to recite every country in a table.

How long is the warranty? Twenty-four months for the C2 and the C2 Vision on the published chart. Other machines on the same chart also show twenty-four months, but I am not naming them here. Statutory rights in your country sit beside that limited term; the page says the limited warranty does not wipe those rights. Keep the invoice. A warranty claim after the thirty-day window still needs you to ship the unit in.

Who pays if I send it back because I changed my mind? You do, unless they accept a defect. Photograph the unused kit and the carton before you book a label. If your label costs more than fifty euros, budget to lose the extra. Will a refund show this week? Warehouse time plus bank time can run past a fortnight. Plan for that if you need the money for a technician visit you should have booked instead.

Can I change the delivery street after I pay? Only by cancelling inside three hours and ordering again. After dispatch, no. What voltage does the charger take? Unpublished on the live product pages I opened. Write support or wait for the adapter plate. What is the IP rating? Also unpublished. I will not assign one. Is the unit wet in the box? Their FAQ says factory water tests can leave a stain, and that this does not mean you were sent a used machine.

Will it replace a public-pool crew? No. If a contract already pays a person to brush, test, and sign a log, keep that person. A robot can sit beside that contract in a private club that already has staff, but it does not take the liability. Can I get someone on site this weekend? Not through this checkout. You are buying a parcel. If the pool must be swimmable for a Monday booking, call a local technician now and leave the shop for a calmer week.

Do I have to use the app? No. The C2 pages sell modes and a timer through the phone, and that is the comfortable path if you like a weekday schedule. You can still drop the unit in and pick a mode on the body. If Bluetooth pairing fails, their FAQ says to turn Bluetooth on first, power-cycle the robot, and write support if the login itself is broken. I would not buy the Vision solely because of the app. I would buy it for the camera pitch, or I would save the money and take the plain C2.

If you still want the box

Measure the water. Read the shipping list. Read the thirty-day rules. Then open the EU store and look at the two cards I named. If the live price is still in the four-hundreds for the C2 or the mid six-hundreds for the Vision, and you can wait for a parcel, the shop is doing a straightforward job. If you needed a person with a van this weekend, close the tab and make that call. The warranty chart will still be there in October.

Open eu.wybotpool.com through this link, confirm your country ships, and only then choose between the C2 and the C2 Vision.
