Levoit.de: The packing slip was fine. The filter bag almost stayed on.

Levoit.de is the German shop for Levoit air purifiers, with free inland postage and a thirty-day return if you buy on the site. I opened the cart on 27 September 2026: skip it if a wall is wet enough for a plumber, or if you only wanted a cheap fan tonight.

Levoit.de: The packing slip was fine. The filter bag almost stayed on.

The filter bag was still sealed. I almost pressed power anyway.

The first thing that went wrong was almost stupid. I had the carton open on the hallway runner, packing slip still stuck to the lid with that slightly greasy thermal print, and I came this close to tapping the power button with the filter still in its sealed bag. The bag. The bag was the whole first-night problem. A cylinder will spin, it will make a polite noise, and the air in the room will stay limp because nothing is actually passing through a filter. I caught it because the plastic crinkled when I lifted the stack. If I had been tired, I would have blamed the machine.

I opened levoit.de on 27 September 2026 with that slip in the other hand. The German shop is Vesync's storefront for this country. Air purifiers sat at the front of my visit. Other climate gadgets sat further down, and I left them there. I was not hunting mist or a cordless stick. I wanted one tower for a bedroom that collects street dust on the sill. The homepage tiles flashed room sizes and a CADR-looking number that did not match the product page I clicked next. I wanted — I mean I expected — a figure I could write down. Those CADR numbers stay unpublished here.

Walk away if you need a plumber, or a fan by tonight

Here is the impatient version. If a wall in the flat is wet, if the skirting is soft, if you can smell a leak you have not found, you need a plumber for damp, not a filter stack. A purifier pulls particles out of air that already exists. It does not dry masonry. It does not find the pipe. I have watched people buy a tower because the room felt close, then discover the problem was a slow seep behind a wardrobe. That is a stubborn damp problem. Buy a machine after the leak is closed.

The other skip is simpler and more annoying. Do I really need a two-hundred-euro cylinder to move bedroom air I already vacuum twice a week? If the honest answer is that you wanted a cheap fan tonight, close the tab. levoit.de ships inside Germany with DHL or DPD in three to seven working days. They say they cannot do express and they will not hold a parcel for pickup. A supermarket pedestal fan you can carry home after work is a different object. This cart will not pretend to be that object.

  • Skip if you need a plumber for damp. A wet wall, a soft skirting board, or a leak you have not found is a pipe job, not a filter job
  • Skip if you wanted a cheap fan tonight. There is no same-day courier and no shop-counter pickup on this site
  • Skip if your delivery address is outside Germany. Free postage is inland only, and they say they do not send into other EU countries
  • Skip if you expected a medical device that would cure a chest complaint. This is a household appliance with a replaceable stack
  • Skip if you will not buy a new filter every six to twelve months. A clogged stack is just a noisy box
  • Skip if you needed one machine to clean a whole open-plan floor through closed doors. These towers are room devices

If that list already sent you back to a hardware aisle, good. The rest of this page is for the person who still has a German address, a room they can name, and the patience to wait for a brown box.

The people this German cart is actually for

Keep reading if you live in Germany and you can point at the room. A bedroom that faces a road. A rented office nook with a printer that sheds dust. A living room where a dog sleeps on the sofa and the hair never quite settles. You are allowed to put a cylinder on the floor. You do not need to drill a wall or call the landlord's electrician. You are willing to spend about the price of a mid-range kettle set, then another filter later, because you already tried opening the window and the sill just got dirtier.

It also fits people who want a German checkout with a printed return path, not a marketplace listing that vanishes. levoit.de takes the card or Klarna, emails you, and tells you to write support.de@levoit.com if the box is wrong. That is fussy in a useful way. You get a two-year limited warranty on the machine if you keep the invoice. You do not get a clinic. You get a tower, a manual, and a stack you will peel.

Two towers. That is the whole comparison.

I am naming two machines because a third name would be a catalog. The Core 300S is the bedroom-sized smart cylinder. On 27 September 2026 the German shop had it around one hundred fifty euros, postage included if your address is inland. It is the one I would put in a closed room you actually sleep in, not in a through-lounge. The app is VeSync if you want a timer from the sofa. You can also ignore the app and use the buttons. I ignored the app the first night because I was still thinking about the bag.

The Core 400S is the larger sibling for a sitting room or an open kitchen-living space. Same visit, same shop, about two hundred twenty euros. Heavier. Wider. Still a cylinder you can carry by the handle if you are not making a performance of it. If your room is a hallway plus a lounge with no door, this is the one I would look at first. If you only have a small bedroom, buying the larger one is just paying for a taller object.

I am not stacking filter grades, wattage bands, or a CADR column. The comparison table on the collection page and the tiles on the home page did not agree in a way I wanted to transcribe. Unpublished is the honest word. What I will say is ordinary: a pre-filter catches hair and lint, a paper-style HEPA layer is meant to hold finer dust and pollen, and a carbon layer is there for kitchen smell. Replace the stack when the machine or the app nags, usually somewhere between half a year and a year if you run it most days.

What the money actually looks like

The machine price is the part people remember. The filter is the part that comes back. For the Core 300S the official replacement on levoit.de was about thirty-two euros on that September visit. For the Core 400S the matching stack was about sixty euros. Neither is a surprise once you have owned one of these. Both are more than a packet of vacuum bags. If that yearly hit feels rude, you are not the customer. A limp filter is how a good cylinder starts to sound busy and move less air.

  • Core 300S: about one hundred fifty euros on 27 September 2026, free inland postage
  • Core 400S: about two hundred twenty euros the same day, still free inland postage
  • Replacement stack for the smaller tower: about thirty-two euros, plan on one a year if you run it often
  • Replacement stack for the larger tower: about sixty euros, same habit
  • Klarna pay-later or split pay is offered at checkout. The extra fee, if any, sat behind the Klarna overlay and stays unpublished here
  • Returns inside thirty days from the delivery scan, if you bought on levoit.de itself. Email support first. They say they can send a prepaid label for a qualifying return
  • Two-year limited warranty on the appliance if you keep the invoice. Filters are wear parts. Do not expect a free stack under that promise

The shipping. No — wait. Shipping was the one line that was actually clean. Free inside Germany. Three to seven working days after they process the order. DHL or DPD, three delivery attempts, then the parcel comes back and you write the support address to arrange another send, which can cost extra. Cancel the same day if you change your mind, and put the order number in the email, because they start packing quickly.

How an order leaves levoit.de

Buying is ordinary web checkout, not a puzzle. You pick the colour if they offer more than one, you confirm the German postcode, you pay in full or you open Klarna. I did not start a Klarna agreement, so I will not invent a monthly figure. You get an order mail. You wait. There is no store you can walk into with the order number. If the first attempt fails because you were in the cellar, you still have two more. If all three fail, the box goes home and the clock on your patience starts over. I kept the packing slip on the fridge with a magnet, which is a habit and not a requirement, because the email is the thing they will ask for if the carton looks crushed.

The return is email-first, which some people will hate. You write support.de@levoit.com within thirty days of the scan on the tracking page, not thirty days from the day you clicked pay. They want the machine reasonably clean, preferably in the original carton. Missing a small accessory does not automatically kill the return. If you slap your own label on a random carrier, you pay that postage and you carry the risk. The thirty-day courtesy is for site purchases. A marketplace box is someone else's rules.

What this machine will not fix

It will not dry a bathroom after a shower. It will not replace a cooker hood. It will not turn a basement with standing water into a guest room. The carbon layer can take the edge off a frying smell if you run the thing while you cook and you keep a window habit. It will not erase last night's fish. I think people bounce in week one because they expected the room to smell like a shop display. Rooms smell like people.

A Levoit cylinder is a fan plus a stack you have to unwrap. Treat it like a household appliance with a German invoice, not like a treatment.

— Priya Nair

Night mode exists so the display is less of a nightlight. Some people still hate the residual glow. Child lock exists because the top is a tempting drum for a toddler. Auto mode exists because the sensor likes to look busy; if your room is already fairly ordinary, it may sit on a low setting and you will wonder why you paid for a larger motor. That is a limit, not a scandal. Put the machine where air can turn, or you paid for furniture.

Leave space around the cylinder

Sunday measuring is the unglamorous part. I put a chair next to the planned spot and checked I still had a walkway. You want the intake off the curtain and off the radiator. A closed corner behind a sofa is a pretty place to hide a beige object and a limp way to run one. Pull it a little into the room. Run it with the door you actually use, not with every interior door sealed because you saw a room-size number on a tile.

Care is not a hobby. Vacuum the pre-filter when it looks grey. Wipe the shell. Do not wash the main stack. When the app or the red check-filter light nags, order the matching official pack and peel the bag this time before you power on. Odd-looking filters from random listings are how people end up with a cylinder that sounds wrong. I am not doing a scare story. I am saying the shop's own replacement page is the boring correct tab. If the page is empty, wait. A week of slightly dustier air is cheaper than a stack that does not seat.

Questions I asked before I paid

These are checkout questions, not a brochure. I asked them out loud while the packing slip was still on the table, because that is when the fees and the limits stop being theoretical.

Does levoit.de ship the box to Austria or France?

Not on the policy I read. Free postage is Germany. They say they currently do not send into other EU countries. If you are sitting in Vienna with a German plug adapter and hope, use a local retailer or skip it. A parcel that is not allowed to start is not a bargain.

How long until the box shows up?

After they process the order, three to seven working days depending on where you are in the country. That is not tonight. It is also not a fortnight if they are not backed up. They warn that busy periods slow the warehouse and that they will not offer express. If you needed it for guests arriving tomorrow, you already missed the window.

Can I cancel after I click pay?

Same day, with the order number, to the German support address. After that they may already have handed the carton to DHL or DPD. I would not count on a late-evening change of mind surviving until Monday. If the parcel is already moving, you are in return territory, not cancel territory.

Who pays if I send it back?

For a qualifying return inside thirty days of the delivery scan, they say they can provide a prepaid label after you email and they agree the return. That is the path I would use. If you insist on your own carrier, you pay and you own the risk. Buy from the German site if you want that path. A third-party marketplace invoice is a different desk.

Is a spare filter sitting in the carton?

No. You get the stack that is already in the machine, the one in the plastic bag you must remove. A second pack is a separate line. Budget the thirty-two or sixty euros before you tell yourself the first year is just the tower. If the official filter page shows sold out, wait or look at the other size you already considered.

What happens after three failed deliveries?

The carrier sends the parcel back. You write support.de@levoit.com and you ask for another send. Extra cost is possible. Put a note on the order if your building is fussy about buzzers. A packing slip does not help if nobody answers the door.

Does Klarna cost extra on this cart?

I do not know, because I did not open the overlay far enough to accept a plan. Pay in full if you hate surprise fees. If you use the split, read the Klarna screen like a contract, because that fee is theirs, not a line Levoit prints in words on the product tile.

If the room is dry, the address is German, and you can wait a week, open the official cart and read the return line before you pay.
