A Paris house that will only FedEx a US street address
Maje is a Paris women's ready-to-wear label sold in the United States from us.maje.com. The homepage we opened on 19 September 2026 led with Fall-Winter 2026, not a dump of every country catalog. The shop ships only inside the United States and will not send parcels to PO boxes, APO or FPO addresses, or hotels. That constraint shapes this guide: French numbering on clothes, FedEx processing windows, an eight-dollar mail-return fee, and Final Sale rules that cover sale pieces plus swimwear, bodysuits, and jewelry. A standalone boutique is not the same as a Bloomingdale's counter. This is not a recap of the French site, and a New York receipt will not automatically work in Paris.
How Judith Milgrom built the four letters on the label
Judith Milgrom founded Maje in 1998 and remains artistic director. The official vision page says she grew up in Morocco and then Paris and taught herself the craft she wanted for a feminine everyday wardrobe. The four letters are a family code: M for Moyal, her maiden name; A for Alain, her brother and co-founder; J for Judith; and E for Evelyne, her sister, who founded Sandro. Parent company SMCP still names Milgrom as founder and artistic director and lists Elina Kousourna as CEO. The brand also notes a 2011 Femme en Or trophy and a 2017 appointment as Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur. Prototypes are designed in the Paris studio; partner factories sit in several regions.
What us.maje.com actually stocks this season
The US grid is women's clothing and accessories: dresses, tops, knitwear, skirts, trousers, blazers and jackets, coats, bags, and shoes. On 19 September 2026 the short satiny dress with ruffles in Parma Violet listed at 325 dollars and was already Final Sale. The mini tweed dress listed at 440 dollars. The blazers page ran from a short-sleeved cropped jacket at 400 dollars to an oversize gold-button leather jacket at 1,050 dollars, with a short tweed jacket at 530 dollars and suit jackets near 610 to 690 dollars. A quilted leather jacket showed 1,050 dollars marked down 40 percent to 630 dollars. Those tags move; checkout is what you pay.
- Dresses as listed 19 September 2026: satiny ruffle dress 325 dollars (Final Sale); mini tweed dress 440 dollars
- Jackets: short tweed 530 dollars; many suit jackets 610 to 690 dollars; oversize gold-button leather 1,050 dollars
- Bags: Miss M mini suede 470 dollars; crackle leather mini Miss M 435 dollars; mini quilted leather tote 435 dollars
- Shoes: leather loafers 450 dollars on a cross-sell; leather biker boots 580 dollars reduced to 290 dollars, Final Sale
- Gift cards: US purchase only, 1,000-dollar maximum, no expiry fee, not valid at retail partners
French 34 to 42, US XS to XL, and shoes that start at 5.5
The clothes size guide maps French and EU 34, 36, 38, 40, and 42 to US XS, S, M, L, and XL. The same table lists house numbers 0 through 4, UK 6 through 14, German 32 through 40, and Italian 38 through 46. It is a correspondence chart, not a bust-waist-hip tape; those body numbers were not on the guide we fetched. Product pages often show a 5-foot-10 model in French 36, which is US Small. The longer FAQ says pick your usual size, then call 1.866.814.1405 if you sit between sizes. Footwear dropdowns typically run US 5.5 / FR 36 through US 10.5 / FR 41; some mules add US 4.5 / FR 35. The studded Mary Jane page says the style runs small. Bags are one size. If you need larger than US XL, this is the wrong shop.
Check the live French-to-US size pair on the garment you want, then confirm whether that SKU is full price or Final Sale before you pay.
Open the Maje US size and product pages →Who this shop fits, and who should walk away
Shop us.maje.com if you want a Paris contemporary look, you wear roughly US XS through XL, and you have a street address FedEx will accept. The fit is a woman who already pays contemporary prices for a tweed jacket or a weekend dress and wants the M bag family, a Miss M mini, or a leather layer with gold hardware. Guest checkout works. An account still helps if you expect a split shipment, a size exchange, or a prepaid label. Klarna appears on eligible orders from 35 to 3,000 dollars, subject to approval. US-issued gift cards work on the US site and at participating standalone boutiques and outlets in this country, which suits a recipient who will try the piece in a flagship.
Skip the cart if you need plus sizes, petite-only grading, or a men's line. Skip it if delivery is only possible at a PO box, a hotel desk, or an APO address. Skip it if a 400-dollar jacket is not a planned buy. Skip sale, swimwear, bodysuits, and jewelry unless you are sure of size and color; those groups are Final Sale with no return, exchange, or store credit. Skip the idea of walking an online order into Bloomingdale's or Nordstrom; the help FAQ closes that path. Skip the US site if you live abroad. Returns stay in the country of purchase, so a US order is a US problem.
Treat Maje's US site as a five-size French cut with a strict Final Sale fence, not as a department store that will quietly take back a markdown. If the piece is full price and you can reach a standalone boutique or wait for a prepaid label, the house is usable. If you need the sale rack to be reversible, shop another brand.

Checkout, FedEx holds, and the two-day surcharge
Add pieces, enter a street address, pick a ship method, and pay. The longer FAQ still lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. The newer help FAQ adds Klarna and says the card is authorized at purchase and captured when goods ship. A pre-shipment cancel usually releases the hold within five business days. Tax-free shopping is not offered online. Only one promotional code applies unless a campaign says otherwise. You cannot edit a placed order. The help FAQ allows a cancel within two hours through Track My Order or the account; after that the warehouse keeps going. A first-order email or SMS welcome code may appear at cart on select full-price goods.
All US site parcels go by FedEx. The help FAQ says processing generally takes up to two business days; product copy and the longer FAQ still say two to four. The warehouse is Monday through Friday. After the ship email, standard delivery is two to ten business days in the help FAQ and five to ten on many product pages, weekdays, roughly 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Standard service is listed as free on the longer FAQ. Express is prioritized, may still need processing time, then aims for two business days in transit. The longer FAQ prices FedEx 2 Day at 22 dollars and mentions ShopRunner for members. Checkout is the live rate. One order can leave in more than one box.
- Zone: United States street addresses only; no PO boxes, APO/FPO, or hotels
- Standard FedEx: listed free; about 2 to 4 days to process, then about 5 to 10 business days in transit
- Express: about 2 business days after the ship email; longer FAQ lists FedEx 2 Day at 22 dollars
- Cancel window: 2 hours on the current help FAQ; no edits after checkout
- Service: 1.866.814.1405 or customercare@cs-us.maje.com, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET
Thirty days, an eight-dollar label, and Final Sale
Eligible full-price items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Keep every tag, including the Merchandise Return Tag. Worn, washed, or altered goods are refused. Start a mail return from your account or Track My Order, download the prepaid label, and include the packing slip. Labels are issued only for continental US addresses, not Puerto Rico. An 8-dollar fee comes out of the refund unless the case is an approved quality problem or a wrong item. After the warehouse scan, allow 5 to 10 business days to process and another 3 to 4 for the bank. The longer FAQ prints the return address as Maje Returns, 1009 West Middlesex Avenue, Port Reading, NJ 07064. Online exchanges are the same style in another size, reserved 10 days, with no return postage. Eligible online orders can go back to a participating standalone boutique, not an outlet or department counter. Sale, swimwear, bodysuits, and jewelry stay Final Sale.
Flagships you can return to, counters you cannot
The US locator lists standalone shops and a long tail of department counters. In New York, 114 Spring Street (212.219.4003) and the Meatpacking flagship at 405 West 13th Street (646.726.4619) are the addresses that matter for a try-on or an online return. Chicago has Oak Street at 100 East Oak Street. Los Angeles listings include The Grove at 189 The Grove Drive, Beverly Drive at 350 North Beverly Drive, Westfield Century City, and Westfield Topanga. Outlets for older seasons include Woodbury Common, Desert Hills in Cabazon, San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore, Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, and Sawgrass Mills. Call before you travel. Online and store prices can differ; the checkout price governs the web order.
Use the US site for current Fall-Winter 2026 pieces, then decide in the cart whether you need free standard FedEx or paid express.
Shop Maje ready-to-wear on us.maje.com →Maje US questions before you click pay
Does us.maje.com ship to Canada, hotels, or a military address?
No. Both FAQ pages limit us.maje.com to United States delivery addresses and block PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and hotels. Canada appears on the store locator because Maje has boutiques there, not because the US website will cross the border. Use the Canadian site or a local store if you need a Canadian parcel. A hotel drop is also blocked. A workplace dock or a neighbor's street address is the workaround the help page suggests when it discusses porch theft. Delivery days are weekdays. Weekend and holiday orders wait for the next warehouse day before the FedEx clock starts.
Can I send back a markdown dress, a swimsuit, or earrings?
Usually no. Full-price ready-to-wear that still has tags can come back within 30 days. Sale items, swimwear, bodysuits, and jewelry are Final Sale: no return, no exchange, no store credit, online or in store. The Merchandise Return Tag in the box does not create eligibility. If a Final Sale piece arrives with damage beyond normal wear, the help FAQ wants notice and photos within 48 hours of delivery. Approved quality or wrong-item cases on returnable goods skip the 8-dollar fee. Do not wash or wear a maybe-return. Eligible footwear needs the original shoebox, according to the longer FAQ.
How tight is the cancel window, and can I change a size after I pay?
You cannot edit a placed order. The help FAQ gives a two-hour cancel through Track My Order or the account. One older FAQ section still mentions 30 minutes, so do not linger. After the window, wait for delivery and use a return or a size exchange if the SKU is eligible. A size exchange must be the same style, requested within 30 days of the ship date, with the unused piece sent back in 10 days. That path has no return postage. A plain refund by mail takes the 8-dollar deduction. Guest shoppers can still run Track My Order with the order number and email.
Will a US gift card work at Bloomingdale's or on a trip to France?
Not on the rules in the help FAQ. Gift cards bought in the United States work on us.maje.com and at participating standalone boutiques and outlet stores in this country. They do not work at retail partners such as Bloomingdale's, and they do not work outside the country of purchase. Cards do not expire and do not carry inactivity fees. The maximum balance is 1,000 US dollars. Lost cards are treated like cash and are not replaced. Promotional codes cannot buy a gift card, and a gift card cannot buy another gift card. An older FAQ page still says cards are store-only; trust the newer help text and the gift-card page at checkout if they disagree.
What should I do if leather arrives scuffed or the wrong size ships?
Write customercare@cs-us.maje.com or call 1.866.814.1405 while you still have photos of the label, the defect, and the packing slip. Advisors are listed Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern, except public holidays. Include the order number and the checkout email. For a full-price size mistake, use the 10-day reserved exchange or a 30-day return. For a Final Sale jacket with damage beyond normal wear, the 48-hour photo rule applies. Extra buttons ship with buttoned garments, but spare hardware is not a standing parts desk. Package theft after a completed FedEx scan is a carrier claim; report it quickly.
