Mack International Ticket Shop Review: Europa-Park, Rulantica, and How to Buy Without Confusing the Mack Family for a Truck Brand

Mack International GmbH, based in Rust, is the family company behind the official Europa-Park Resort ticket shop at tickets.mackinternational.de. The shop sells date-based admission for Europa-Park and Rulantica, plus parking, selected Ride & Slide combos, Eatrenalin dining, and ResortPass annual tickets when contingents are open.

Mack International Ticket Shop Review: Europa-Park, Rulantica, and How to Buy Without Confusing the Mack Family for a Truck Brand

This is the Europa-Park family’s ticket desk, not a truck dealer

Search “Mack International” and you can land on the wrong continent. This review is not about Mack Trucks. It is about Mack International GmbH of Rust, Baden-Württemberg, the personally liable partner of Europa-Park GmbH & Co Mack KG, registered at the Freiburg court under HRB 400325. Managing directors on the park’s legal notice include Roland, Jürgen, Michael, Thomas, and Ann-Kathrin Mack. The family opened Europa-Park in 1975 as a showcase for Mack Rides. The public ticket shop lives at tickets.mackinternational.de. Souvenirs sit on shop.europapark.de. Hotels are a third booking path. Mixing those tabs is how people buy a T-shirt when they needed a dated day ticket.

The resort sits between the Black Forest and the Vosges, in the town of Rust. Europa-Park is Germany’s largest theme park, with European themed areas added from 1982 and a visitor count the operator puts above six million a season. Beside the coaster park are Rulantica water world, YULLBE virtual-reality attractions, Eatrenalin’s long multi-sensory dinner, themed hotels and Camp Resort, VEEJOY streaming, and Silver Lake City. One MackOne account, offered since March 2021 by Europa-Park GmbH & Co Mack KG, is the shared login for the ticket shop, the merchandise shop, the park app, and VEEJOY. Register once.

What the ticket shop sells, and what it refuses to be

The shop’s job is timed admission. For the 2026 season it listed Europa-Park 1-day tickets from 67.00 euros for guests aged 12 and over, with children aged 4–11, seniors 60+, and a special rate from 56.50 euros. Two-day park tickets were listed from 127.00 euros for adults and from 105.00 euros for the reduced bands. Those are “from” prices: the calendar is date-specific, busy days cost more, and a ticket unused on the booked date is described as invalid, with no date swap. On-site ticket offices add a 10 euro surcharge versus the online price. Parking is a separate 10.00 euro ticket; reserved parking was listed at 32.00 euros. Toddlers through age 3 enter Europa-Park free. Carry photo ID for age bands.

Rulantica has its own clock. A day ticket was listed from 41.00 euros for adults and from 38.00 euros for children, seniors, and the special rate. Evening tickets from 17:00 and moonlight tickets from 19:00 are cheaper bands the shop publishes as “from” figures. Rulantica parking is another 10.00 euro line. Ride & Slide combines a Europa-Park day with a Rulantica evening on the same booked date only; adult prices were listed from 82.50 euros, and the combo can sell out. Two-day Europa-Park tickets work differently: you pick the first day, then the second visit must fall within the following five days. Read that rule twice before you plan a hotel checkout.

  • Date-specific Europa-Park 1-day and 2-day admission, with toddlers through age 3 free and photo ID expected for reduced rates
  • Rulantica day, evening, and moonlight tickets, plus a same-date Ride & Slide combo when that SKU is on sale
  • Parking tickets for the coaster park and for Rulantica, sold separately from admission
  • Eatrenalin dinner experiences with listed adult and age-banded prices
  • Gift voucher tickets and EMOTIONS-style resort payment cards when those products are in the shop
  • ResortPass Silver and Gold annual tickets when the contingent is open; the shop can mark them fully booked

ResortPass, hotels, and why the merchandise shop is the wrong cart

ResortPass Silver is the Europa-Park annual ticket; Gold adds more flexibility and two Rulantica days. Listed 2026 prices were 325.00 euros for adult Silver and 495.00 euros for adult Gold, with child, senior, and special-rate bands below that. When we opened the shop, Silver and Gold were marked unavailable because contingents were full, with no on-site or phone workaround promised. If you visit many times, watch the shop rather than a reseller. Hotel guests often receive admission through the hotel booking rather than this ticket cart. The infoline +49 7822 776 688 is the human backstop, not a second warehouse of sold-out passes.

Eatrenalin is a seated show-dinner of more than 100 minutes, with the operator suggesting you plan around three hours including lounge and bar. Listed dinner tickets started at 275.00 euros for ages 10+ on the standard experience, with higher exclusive and sommelier SKUs on the same page. It is not a quick snack between coasters. YULLBE and Snorri snorkelling VR are sold as dated experiences with their own age floors. Voucher tickets exist for people who want to gift a day without locking a calendar date at purchase. Undated tickets later need dating at europapark.de/exchange, and the park warns that a surcharge can apply if the visit-day price is higher, plus a 10 euro fee if you date on site at the gate.

Pick the exact calendar day first, then add parking, and only then look at combos or vouchers. Sold-out red dates do not reappear at Guest Service.

How to actually check out without creating three logins

Create a MackOne account with the email you will have on the phone at the turnstile. That login is what the park app uses for virtual queues and wait times as well. Add every guest’s age band before you touch the calendar, because a 12-year-old is an adult ticket in this system. If someone has a German disability ID, the special rate is the online path; some child disability tickets are still an on-site information-office product. Birthday children through age 12 can enter Europa-Park free with a passport or ID on the birthday itself. Parking is easy to forget and expensive in time if you queue at a pay machine on a peak Saturday. Buy it in the same basket.

Capacity is real. Ride & Slide and some calendar days show as sold out in red; the shop says those dates cannot be booked later through Guest Service either. That is your sign to shift the trip, not to gamble on the gate. Print-at-home and mobile tickets are the normal pattern; hotel guests can also pull tickets from the hotels app from 6:00 on arrival day. Lost tickets are not a casual reprint, so screenshot the QR. The EMOTIONS gift card is a resort-wide purse used in parks, hotels, and Eatrenalin. If a maintenance window takes cards offline, carry a backup payment method. Third-party “skip the line” PDFs are how families get turned away at a name mismatch.

The Mack International shop is the official calendar for Rust. Treat the date you click as a train ticket: unused, it dies. Treat Mack Trucks as a different company on a different continent.

Who this shop is for, and who should book a hotel package instead

Use the ticket shop if you already have a bed in Rust, Offenburg, Strasbourg, or a Black Forest guesthouse and you only need admission and parking. Use it for a Rulantica evening after a park day, for Eatrenalin if you want that dinner without a hotel clerk, and for voucher tickets you will date later. Do not use it as a substitute for a hotel reservation. Overnight packages bundle multi-day park tickets at reception prices the public 1-day calendar does not always match. Camp Resort and the themed hotels have their own cancellation clocks. Tourist tax in Rust is collected by hotels for adults 12+; it is not an extra line in the ticket shop.

The 2025–2026 anniversary period added a civic footnote: the Little Heroes Children’s House in Silver Lake City opened on 6 July 2026 as a place for families after a child’s cancer treatment, built with the RTL children’s foundation, the German Children’s Cancer Foundation, and Karlsruhe’s Stelzenmännchen association. You do not buy that on a ticket SKU. For a visitor, the practical anniversary detail is still the calendar: Euro-Mir’s long run is advertised as ending after the 2026 season. Ride lists change. The ticket shop will not warn you that your child’s favourite spinning coaster is in its last months unless you read the park news.

  • Confirm you are on tickets.mackinternational.de, not a truck site and not the T-shirt shop
  • Enter correct age bands; a 12th birthday is an adult ticket unless it is the free birthday visit with ID
  • Buy parking in the same session if you are driving, especially on Saturdays
  • Treat red calendar days and sold-out ResortPass banners as final
  • Date undated voucher tickets before you travel, and budget a possible price-difference surcharge
  • Book hotels on the accommodation path if you need bundled multi-day admission rather than a single dated QR

FAQ: children, two-day tickets, ResortPass, and Eatrenalin

Do children under four need a ticket in the Mack International shop?

For Europa-Park, no. Toddlers through three years enter free and the shop says no ticket is required. From the fourth birthday you need a child ticket until the guest is 12, when the adult band starts. Birthday children through 12 enter free on the birthday with a valid passport or ID. Rulantica and Ride & Slide follow the same under-four free rule on the pages we checked, but water-park age and height rules for slides are separate from the ticket band. Hotels may include a small child in the room rate if they share the parents’ bed; a cot is an extra on the hotel side, not something this ticket cart sells.

What happens if it rains on my dated ticket?

The shop’s Europa-Park ticket pages say a date-specific ticket becomes invalid if unused on the booked day and cannot be exchanged for another date. That is a hard rule, not a weather promise. Outdoor parks in the Upper Rhine still run in rain; some outdoor rides stop in storms. Rulantica is the indoor-water hedge, which is why Ride & Slide exists. If your train fails, call the infoline and read the current AGB rather than assuming a free move. The kinder product if your dates are soft is a voucher ticket you date later, accepting that dating can cost more if the chosen Saturday is a peak tariff.

Is ResortPass worth it if the shop says it is sold out?

Not today, because you cannot buy it when contingents are full. Silver listed at 325.00 euros for adults and Gold at 495.00 euros only matter when the contingent reopens. A pass pays off if you will visit enough days that the sum of dated 1-day tickets would exceed those figures, after parking. Gold’s extra Rulantica days matter only if you will actually swim. Local households in Ortenau are the obvious audience. A single Saturday trip from Hamburg is not. When the banner says fully booked, neither Guest Service nor the gate is described as a secret stockroom. Watch the shop on MackOne.

Lock the calendar day, add parking, and keep the MackOne email handy for the app. If the date is red, change the trip instead of hoping the gate has a spare.

Verdict for travellers heading to Rust

The Mack International ticket shop is the official, date-driven front door to Europa-Park and Rulantica. It is the right URL for admission, parking, selected combos, dining experiences, and a ResortPass when one exists to sell. It is the wrong URL for Mack truck parts, for plush mascots, and for a hotel room. Book early, respect sold-out days, carry ID for age prices, and remember that a toddler is free but a 12-year-old is not. Rust is a family business that also builds rides. The QR in your wallet is still just a timed ticket. Spend it on the day it names.
