If it got banished to a cabinet, it failed the test. If it stayed out and got used at least three times a week, it made our list.

Conspicuously absent from our list: air fryers. While popular, 60% of our test households stopped using them within two weeks. The exception was one-person households where the air fryer replaced preheating a full oven.
