The French legal page we checked on 19 September 2026 lists capital of 332,139.80 euros; the English terms page still prints 119,380 euros, so read the locale you buy from. Marc Briant-Terlet and Kim Mazzilli launched Horace in March 2015. Care writes team@horace.co. The catalog is face, hair, beard, body, and fragrance — cosmetics and grooming, not a clinic.
The English homepage groups Oud Rose, Purifying Face Cleanser, Mattifying Face Moisturizer, Vitamin C + Glycolic Acid Serum, Under-Eye Moisturizer, and Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Patches. The French homepage adds Bio-Retinol + Argireline Peptide Serum and Patchouli & Cedar Beard Oil. Shop copy claims more than 75,000 five-star reviews and a made-in-France range built with partner labs. A footer on 19 September 2026 said every product is at least 77.6 percent natural origin except sunscreens SPF 50+; a newsletter page said 80 percent and up outside those SPF SKUs. Trust the INCI on the pack you receive.
Face kits that actually sit in the cart
The Face Kit is the starter trio most first carts pick. On 19 September 2026 the UK page listed 39 pounds from 43 pounds; the US page listed 52 dollars from 57 dollars. You get Purifying Face Cleanser, Gentle Face Scrub, and one moisturizer: Mattifying for normal to oily skin, Rich for dry skin, Face Firming Gel, or Mattifying SPF30. Use cleanser and cream morning and evening; swap the scrub in once or twice a week. The cleanser is a 200 milliliter unscented gel at 13 pounds on the UK page, 98.7 percent natural origin, vegan, and labeled without parabens, sulfates, or mineral oil.
The Complete Face Kit was 67 pounds from 78 pounds on the UK kits page the same day. It adds Purifying Face Mask and Under-Eye Moisturizer to cleanser, scrub, and mattifying cream. Other face bundles included Clear Skin and Oil Control duos; Anti-Dark Circle Duo at 35 pounds from 39; Anti-Imperfection Duo and Balanced Skin Set at 33 pounds from 37; Tinted Skincare Duo at 39 pounds from 43; and Under-Eye Moisturizer plus Refill at 33 pounds from 37. Locale and promo change the tag, so the live cart is the quote.

Horace sells refill inserts, not an automatic subscription. We found no recurring product plan on 19 September 2026. Cream Pomade Refill is a 50 milliliter pouch at 93.3 percent natural origin, woody-aromatic, made in France, silicone-free and mineral oil-free; brand copy claims 90 percent less plastic from the first refill. Cream Pomade plus Refill was 22 pounds from 25 pounds in the UK. Wax Pomade plus Refill was 30 dollars from 33 dollars in the US (17 dollar jar, 13 dollar refill) for a strong matte hold. Under-Eye Moisturizer Refill is a 15 milliliter unscented tube at 98.8 percent natural origin that clicks into a reusable metal applicator.
Body kits pair 24H Protection Deodorant with a refill in Eucalyptus and Sage, Bergamot and Sea Fennel, Sandalwood and Labdanum, or Unscented. The Eucalyptus kit was 20 pounds from 22 pounds. A refill page said the insert uses 62 percent less plastic and that the stick is alcohol-free, aluminum-free, and paraben-free, with a 24-hour odor claim that is cosmetic copy, not a medical guarantee. The newsletter page offered 10 percent off a next order. That is a mailing list. A French cart banner also mentioned 20 percent with an account; treat it as a live promo, not a pause-and-skip club.
Hair, beard, shave, and the Grasse bottles
Hair splits by type: Fine, Normal to Oily, Dry to Very Dry, and Gentle Anti-Dandruff shampoos in 250 milliliters, plus solid bars, conditioners, Cream Pomade, Wax Pomade, and Texturising Hair Styling Spray. Kits include Anti-Hair Loss Duo, Complete Anti-Hair Loss Kit, and hair-type duos. Those titles are cosmetic listings, not a diagnosis if shedding is sudden or patchy. A Hair Growth Supplement trio of three 60-capsule bottles was 52 pounds from 60 pounds, sold as a food supplement: two capsules a day, adults only, not a diet substitute, with label warnings for anticoagulants, pregnancy, and liver, bile, or kidney-stone problems.
Beard and shave are a smaller bay: Soft Beard Trio at 52 dollars from 57 dollars on the US shop, oils in Lemon and Mint, Tobacco and Vanilla, Patchouli and Cedar, and Oud Rose, plus Shave Cream plus Aftershave Gel Duo at 16 pounds from 18 pounds. Fragrance is its own aisle. Oud Rose Eau de Parfum was 62 pounds for 50 milliliters and 98 pounds for 100 milliliters in the UK, and 82 dollars for 50 milliliters in the US, at 92 percent natural origin. Horace says the concentrate is handmade in Grasse. Read the INCI if you react to perfume.
What made in France covers, and what a cosmetic cannot do
Horace repeats made-in-France on tiles and on the founders page: formulas with French labs, plants in France, Oud Rose concentrate in Grasse. The shop says it skips middlemen so prices sit closer to mass-market than department-store grooming. Ingredient pages color-code natural-origin materials and what the brand calls safe synthetics — Horace's own filter, not a medical seal. SPF 50+ sunscreens sit outside the minimum natural-origin percentage. The face shelf also holds acid and peptide serums and Concealer at 19 pounds. A line about fine lines is still a cosmetic claim. Kit pages already say ask a clinician before you add a scrub or acid if you are on a dermatologist's plan.
Sixteen countries, two London shops, and the US zip codes that bounce
The English delivery page on 19 September 2026 listed France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Denmark, and the United States. A US-locale snapshot named a shorter European set, so the checkout country field is the source of truth. Horace does not ship to Guam, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Alaska, or Hawaii. Tiles say delivery from two business days and a free gift from 60 pounds in the UK or 70 dollars in the US. US pages also print no customs fees; that is shop copy, not a customs-office promise.
English terms for mainland France say weekday orders before 11:00 a.m. ship the same day; weekend and holiday orders wait. Carriers named for France are Colissimo and Mondial Relay. Postage is 5 euros under 40 euros and free from 40 euros, a line the French FAQ and cart still repeat. Outside mainland France, terms name Colissimo or IMX and the customer pays a country rate. OLBO gives 14 days from delivery to return new, unopened items that can be resold. The French page will not refund cosmetics whose seal has been removed. Who should order, and who should skip
Horace fits a man who wants one French shop for cleanser, moisturizer, pomade, deodorant, beard oil, and Oud Rose, and who will start with a kit instead of a twelve-step shelf. It also fits a gift buyer who can keep seals intact, and a traveler who can collect in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lille, Nantes, or the two London rooms. Refill buyers who already own the jar or eye applicator spend less plastic on the second fill. Shoppers in the listed European countries and the contiguous United States can use the site without a reseller. Pick a locale so pounds, euros, or dollars match the card.
Skip the site if you need a clinician, a prescription retinoid, or a diagnosed hair-loss plan. Skip it if you live in Alaska, Hawaii, a listed US territory, or a country off the sixteen-name list, unless a store visit is the whole point. Cream Pomade, Wax Pomade, Under-Eye Moisturizer, and 24H Protection Deodorant refills are one-off SKUs you add when the jar or stick is empty. The only recurring opt-in we found is the newsletter, advertised as 10 percent off a next order, plus an optional SMS list. A French cart banner mentioned 20 percent if you create an account; that is a promo, not a billed cadence. If you want scheduled shipments, Horace is the wrong shop. If you want a cheaper second fill, the refill aisle is the real offer.

Exchange or store-credit windows are written as 30 days on the English terms page and 15 days on the French page, and they still expect the product intact. Are Horace products medical treatments?
No. Horace sells cosmetics, hygiene products, fragrance, and one food-supplement SKU. Purifying Face Cleanser pages cite a 21-day lab test on 20 adult men under a dermatologist's supervision; that is a brand tolerance and satisfaction test, not a license to treat acne, eczema, or hair-loss disease. Anti-Hair Loss kits and the Hair Growth Supplement are catalog titles with the shop's own use notes and precautions. They do not replace a clinician. Kit pages already tell anyone on a dermatological treatment to ask that clinician before adding a scrub, acid, or peptide serum.
