The contract on calida.com is not with a Swiss factory souvenir counter. Kundeninformation on the German pages names Calida Group Digital GmbH, directors Thomas Baumberger and David Müller, at Gewerbepark BWB 2, 83052 Bruckmühl, Germany. VAT is DE815128474. The commercial register line is HRB 19548 at Amtsgericht Traunstein. Phone on that page is +49 8062 72133-00, fax +49 8062 72133-499, mail service@calida.com. The offer is binding. You accept it when you send the order. A confirmation email follows. I opened the German DACH storefront at calida.com/en-de (locale DE, English copy), then read Hilfe and Kundeninformation at calida.com/de-de so the fee tables were not a paraphrase.

The brand is older than that GmbH. CALIDA has sold underwear since 1941 and is marking 85 years on the homepage. The loyalty programme sits in another legal box: CALIDA CLUB terms name CALIDA AG, Bahnstrasse 40, CH-6208 Oberkirch, Switzerland. Group publishing details sit with CALIDA Holding AG at Bahnstrasse, Oberkirch, UID CHE-100.688.224. If you only remember “Swiss underwear,” you will mis-file the invoice. The knit can feel Swiss. The DACH web order is a German digital-sales company. Bruckmühl is the contracting address the shop publishes.

Who should pay Swiss-knit prices, and who should walk past

This cart is for people who already own one costly cotton set and want another that still looks like itself after a 40-degree wash. You will put a tape around bust, waist, and hip because CALIDA letters are Swiss, not high-street. You can wait two to four days in Germany, two to five in Austria, or one to three in Switzerland. You accept that a single Evolution boxer at €32.95 does not clear the €69 free-ship line, so you either add a second piece or pay €3.49. You will try the set on a clean floor and keep the bag.

Walk past if you need a same-day department-store swap, a US-letter size that matches a mall chain, or a five-euro multipack. Walk past if you planned to change the size after you click buy: help copy says orders move so fast that address, size, colour, and quantity edits are refused. Walk past if you live outside the EU and assumed the ticket includes local VAT; non-EU prices drop VAT and the courier can collect it. Walk past if you need TWINT from a German billing address; TWINT is Switzerland only. Walk past sealed hygiene pieces you will open and then try to send back. Walk past if a midseason markdown ending 18 October 2026 is the only reason you opened the tab and you refuse to read the “not combinable” line.

What the German DE/en cart charged on 26 September 2026

I opened the cart on 26 September 2026 on calida.com/en-de. The masthead ran MIDSEASON SALE. Fine print said the promotion runs through 18 October 2026, the cut is already in the red price, it does not stack with other actions, and stock can vanish. Autumn/Winter newness sat next to Flannel Dreams, Alpine mix-and-match, and a Second Skin modal long sleeve. Nightwear was the expensive row. Underwear was the cheap row that still fails free shipping if you buy one pair.

Sale percentages were not one house number. Neighbouring pyjama pages showed 20 percent, 30 percent, 40 percent, and 50 percent. Treat each SKU as its own ticket. A half-off swiss+cotton set and a 20 percent TENCEL Modal set are not the same bargain, even when both still say “sale” in red.

Those tickets are not a single “pyjama price.” Nightwear Xtra at half off is still a swiss+cotton interlock set with a €119 strike. Elegant Dreams at 20 percent off stays near a hundred euros because the fibre is TENCEL Modal, not supermarket jersey. Evolution at €32.95 is the honest everyday buy. DEEPSLEEPWEAR splits top and bottom, so a Balancing shirt plus cuffed pants is a two-line order near €200 before any extra cut. If you came for one pair of boxers and free DHL, the maths fail unless you add cotton.

A CALIDA M is not a high-street M

Women’s letters run XXS to XL. The chart warns that Swiss underwear letters can sit off European and international norms. Bust bands: under 81.5 cm for XXS, then 82.5–89.5, 90.5–97.5, 98.5–106.5, 107.5–118.5, 119.5–130.5. Waist: 62–67 up to 107–119. Hip: 83.5–90.5 up to 122–132.5. German dress mapping is 32/34 through 52/54. Short pyjama 44757 prints XS as 36/38 and L as 48/50 on the picker. International mapping shifts one letter: CALIDA S is international M. If you wear a German 40 and grab S because that is “medium elsewhere,” you will be in the wrong column. Bustiers use underbust 65 through 90 plus cups A–C; that grid stays hidden until you open the table.

Men’s letters run S to XXL and also print as EU/CH/DE 4 through 8. Chest 92–96 up to 116–120. Waist 78–83 up to 107–111. Hip 96–99 up to 114–117. Clothing sizes 46/48 through 58/60. UK sleepwear and tops use a different column from UK underwear and pants, so a man who wears a UK 34 waist is not automatically a UK 34 pyjama. Size LL is extra-long L: back, sleeves, and legs five centimetres longer. I did not find a published men’s XXXL on the charts I opened. If you sit between L and XL on waist, measure.

Interlock cotton, three DEEPSLEEPWEAR blends, and the €33 boxer

Nightwear Xtra 43343-407 is the swiss+cotton lecture. The page says 100 percent cotton in interlock, 40-degree wash, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, and the swiss+cotton mark: extra-long Pima fibre with a claim that at least 67 percent of the manufacturing happens in Switzerland. I am repeating a seal, not a mill visit. I did not weigh the jersey. What I can say is the SKU is priced and labelled as the premium cotton set, and on 26 September 2026 the German cart had it at €59.50 against €119. Striped Dreams 44757 is also 100 percent cotton interlock and cheaper, without that Swiss-manufacture seal on the highlight list I read.

DEEPSLEEPWEAR is a different argument. Cooling is 100 percent TENCEL Lyocell and talks moisture over cotton. Balancing uses TENCEL Modal with SeaCell. Warming mixes Tencel/Lyocell with merino and says it should not scratch. Those are fibre stories, not a promise you will sleep eight hours. The priced pieces I logged were mix-and-match: Balancing short-sleeve shirt €89.95, Balancing cuffed bottom 29883-479 €109, Cooling shorts €89.95, Cooling pants €99.95, Warming long-sleeve shirt €99.95. Care on the Modal pieces I opened was 40-degree delicates. If you tumble-dry like a gym shirt, you bought the wrong line. Remix and Relax cotton sit under that: Cotton Special 47642 at €89.95 before 40 percent off, Relax Superlight long listed at €159 on the men’s nightwear grid I sampled.

Underwear is where the brand still looks like a weekly drawer. Evolution 25660-992: Pima-heavy cotton with a little elastane, flat waistband, 60-degree wash, tumble-dry allowed, €32.95. Grafic Cotton 26976 sat at €17.47 on sale. Women’s Sleek Skin tank 12437-992 listed at €32.95. Second Skin on the homepage was a modal long sleeve; I did not pin a live euro on that exact hero before I left the tab. Favourites Sleep, Sweet Dreams, Remix Basic Sleep, Lounge & Relax, Twisted Cotton, and Wool & Silk still appear on the basic-collection pages. I did not price every series.

• Measure bust/chest, waist, and hip in centimetres; map to the Swiss letter on the product table, not to an international letter on the tag in your drawer
• Pick fibre by laundry: swiss+cotton and Striped Dreams interlock at 40°; Evolution boxers at 60° with tumble-dry; Elegant Dreams and DEEPSLEEPWEAR Modal at 40° delicates
• Add lines until Germany/Austria hits €69 (or Switzerland CHF 89) if you want the published free-ship waiver; one €32.95 boxer still ships, but you pay €3.49 / CHF 4.90

Club points, Gold at 2,000, and a sale that ends 18 October

CALIDA CLUB pays 5 points per 1 euro or 1 Swiss franc, including sale tickets. Points sit pending about 24 hours, then activate after 30 days. One thousand points become a €10 or CHF 10 reward. Points last two years. Sign-up copy on the German Club page offered 500 welcome points. Gold starts at 2,000 collected points and adds concierge talk plus a welcome gift the shop does not itemise. Member perks listed free shipping, member-only actions, early private sale, and a 30-day store return without a receipt. Club legal is CALIDA AG in Oberkirch. Shop legal is the Bruckmühl GmbH. Two firms, one logo.

The midseason banner is simpler. It dies on 18 October 2026. It does not stack. One action voucher per order, and the help page says the discount applies only to goods you keep. If you return the marked-down pyjama, do not budget to keep the voucher cut. Some codes apply themselves. Some want the arrow in the basket field. I did not test a stacked Club reward plus a midseason SKU in a paid basket, so that combination stays unpublished.

€3.49 to Germany, CHF 4.90 to Switzerland, and the 69-euro line

Help & Support on the same German storefront prints a country table. Germany and Austria: €3.49 under €69, free at and above. Switzerland and Liechtenstein: CHF 4.90 under CHF 89. France and Italy: €1.95 under €79. Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands: €2.95 under €79. Croatia, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain: €5 under €170. Denmark, Finland, Poland, Sweden, Slovenia, Czechia, Hungary: €5 standard under €140, or €20 express on every order in that group. United Kingdom: £10 standard under £120, express £20 under £120 and £10 above. United States: $20 under $200. Other countries show the fee in checkout. There is no minimum order. One boxer still ships. You just pay the small-ticket postage.

Germany goes DHL. Switzerland goes Swiss Post. Cross-border uses PARCEL.ONE or DHL, then a local post. Express, where offered, is DHL Express. Desk times: Germany 2–4 days, Switzerland 1–3, Austria 2–5, Netherlands 2–5, Belgium 4–6, Italy 4–8, France 5–8, Luxembourg 5–7, rest of EU 6–8 standard or 3–4 express, rest of world express 4–5. They say they usually dispatch inside 24 hours, Monday to Friday, holidays off. I did not stand at a dock. I am repeating the published clock.

EU, Swiss, and Liechtenstein tickets include VAT. Outside the EU the ticket drops VAT and the courier can collect local tax plus duty. The shop says clearance-style fees can be baked into postage, and still warns that customs can charge more at the door. I did not ship a test parcel to Oslo or New York, so I cannot quote a 2026 duty bill. If you are not in DACH, open checkout before you fall in love with a €59.50 set.

You cannot edit the order. You get thirty days if you only tried it on.

Checkout is four steps on the German Kundeninformation page: basket, my data, delivery, payment. Guest checkout is allowed. An account is optional. You can store addresses and see later orders if you register. Orders placed before 1 September 2024 did not migrate into the new account history; hunt the old confirmation emails. After you send the order, you cannot change it. Refuse the parcel or use the return form. The shop recently rebuilt the storefront and admits some old functions are still missing. I hit product pages that demanded a size before the cart button behaved, and a few colourways read as if stock was a script state I could not fully trust without picking a size.

Returns are thirty days from receipt, whole order or single lines, if you only tried the piece on, it is undamaged, and it goes back in the original pack. There is no true exchange button: you buy the new size, you send the old one back. Germany and the rest of the EU get a free return label from the portal. Swiss customers are told to email service@calida.com. Everyone else registers a return on a separate form. Statutory withdrawal language also uses thirty days and says the company pays return postage when you use their route. Refunds go back on the same rails within fourteen days after they have the goods or your proof of shipment. They can wait until the parcel lands. Sealed hygiene goods lose withdrawal if you break the seal.

Payment on the help list: credit card, Klarna invoice, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Twint. Cards named: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Carte Blanche. The card is reserved at order and charged at dispatch. Klarna invoice is thirty days from invoice date, and the bill arrives by email on ship day. Twint needs a Swiss bank account and the app; it is not a German workaround. Country changes the visible rails. I did not complete a paid checkout, so I cannot print the exact last-step button label or the packing-slip warehouse line. The packing slip I never held

I could not verify three things a careful buyer still wants. I never held a 2026 packing slip, so the printed return address — Bruckmühl, a Swiss dock, or a third-party shed — stays unpublished to me. I did not type a Swiss ship-to on the DE/en storefront far enough to see whether the currency flips to francs and the free-ship line becomes CHF 89. I did not get a live size-by-size stock dump; several pages showed “select a size” and an out-of-stock note that may be a template until a variant is chosen. Those gaps are why this is a cart-and-policy guide, not a warehouse tour.

Pay the swiss+cotton or DEEPSLEEPWEAR ticket only if you will measure the Swiss letter and keep the bag clean. The Bruckmühl GmbH is quick to ship and slow to let you edit, which is fine if the thirty-day try-on is your real fitting room.

FAQ

Does a guest order still get the free-ship threshold?

Yes. Help says no account is required and no minimum order exists. The €69 and CHF 89 lines are basket maths, not a login perk. Club membership is a separate free-ship claim on the German Club page. I did not check out as a member, so I cannot confirm that waiver still applies on a lone €32.95 boxer.

Can I stop a DHL parcel if I grabbed the wrong men’s 6?

Help says no. Processing is too fast for size, colour, address, or cancel edits. Refuse the box or use the thirty-day return. Re-order the size you meant. That is the official exchange. Do not email and hope a picker pulls the bag off the belt.

I live in Switzerland. Do I use the German return portal?

Not according to the page I read. EU shoppers download a free label. Swiss shoppers email service@calida.com. Do not assume the German PDF works at a Swiss Post counter. I did not run a Swiss return, so the postage the service desk actually emails you remains unpublished.

When does the credit card actually leave my bank?

Reservation at order. Charge at dispatch. If you pay Klarna, you have thirty days from the invoice date, and that invoice is emailed on ship day. I did not put a live card through, so I cannot timestamp a 2026 capture against a specific SKU.

Why is my 2023 order missing from the new account?

Orders before 1 September 2024 did not transfer after the shop rebuild. The confirmation email is the record until history is restored. Unpublished: whether that restore will ever finish. Keep the PDF, because the new account will not show those lines.

Is TWINT available if I bill in euros to Munich?

Help limits TWINT to Switzerland. A Munich bill should show cards, PayPal, wallets, and Klarna if those rails are on for Germany. I did not finish a Munich checkout, so treat the help list as the published menu, not a screenshot of the last radio buttons.

What if a blue stripe rubs and I want the thirty-day door?

Keep the piece at try-on only if you want the published return. The shop’s review rules say they do not check that a reviewer bought the SKU, so I am not treating site stars as a lab report. Quality mail on one product reply was yourexpert@calida.com. Sealed hygiene goods are a different rule: break the seal and withdrawal can die.
