EcoFlow France Ships a Spare Outlet, Not a House Circuit

On 27 September 2026 the fr.ecoflow.com cart still sold portable stations that leave a German or Czech warehouse, not a same-day kiosk brick. This is for a French or EU hallway that can wait a week for a fridge and a laptop; skip it if you need a licensed electrician on a house circuit, or a power bank tonight.

EcoFlow France Ships a Spare Outlet, Not a House Circuit

The packing slip will say Germany, or Czechia

The packing slip from a fr.ecoflow.com order will not say Lyon. On 27 September 2026 I opened the cart again and the honest object was still the outbound form: a carton leaving a warehouse in Germany or the Czech Republic, then riding DPD, Dachser, or GLS toward a hallway that already has too many boxes. That is the purchase. You are buying a battery with sockets, posted on a weekday, tracked after it moves. You are not buying a clerk who hands you a brick at a kiosk.

A landlord who will not let you touch the panel is the ordinary reason people land here. So is a Sunday spent measuring whether the fridge plug will reach a plastic box by the washing machine. Neither job is a house rewire. I think that distinction is the whole page. The French shop will sell you a station you can carry. The homepage also waves balcony kits at you. Those are other carts. I am not naming them.

EcoFlow France is the local storefront for portable stations and fold-out solar panels. The site is in French. Prices sit in euros. EU support answers at support.eu@ecoflow.com on weekdays from nine to five, Central European Time. The published phone number is a United States line, English only, and it bills as an international call from France. I would start with the email.

Two stations. That is the whole aisle I will name.

I will name two machines and stop. RIVER 3 is the small one. On 27 September 2026 the French tile sat around two hundred eighty euros, down from a list in the mid three hundreds. Bag-sized. Phones, a laptop, a camera, a small light. It will not pretend to be a house. Think of it as a thermos of electricity. You fill it from a wall socket, you carry it, you pour it into whatever still has a plug. It is not the water main.

DELTA 3 Classic is the second name, and the last. Same morning, the tile sat around five hundred fifty to six hundred euros, depending on the row. This is the hallway unit. Heavier. Still quieter than a petrol generator in a courtyard where a neighbor already hates you. It is the one I would look at for a fridge, a few lamps, and a router, not a van full of tools. The shop will quote peak numbers if you open the spec sheet. I am not reciting them.

Both charge from a wall outlet. Both can take a fold-out solar panel if you buy one later. I am not turning that panel into a third product name. The homepage was running a seasonal markdown on house-facing kits the day I checked. Those kits want a different conversation, often a different pair of hands. Skip them if you came here for a box with sockets. Wait a week. That carton is heavy.

Who this cart is actually for

This cart fits someone in France, or in another EU country the shipping table still lists, who wants a spare outlet they can move. It fits a renter whose landlord smiled at a battery on the floor and went cold at a new circuit. It fits a person who will wait three to seven working days, who has a street address that is not a post-office box, and who can live with a station next to the washing machine instead of a panel that feeds the whole apartment. It also fits someone who will plug the box in and let it fill before the next storm, not someone who wants a miracle on the night the lights die.

It also fits a camper or a van that already has a cigarette socket and a fridge that sips, not a whole off-grid build. Do you need a licensed electrician on the house circuit, or do you need the milk to last until the grid comes back? That is the question I would ask out loud in the shop. If the honest answer is the milk, keep reading. If the honest answer is the panel, close the tab and call someone with a license.

Walk away if this is you

I put this above the fold on purpose. The French shop will still take your money if you are the wrong buyer. The carton will still arrive. You will still be stuck.

  • Skip it if you need a licensed electrician for a house circuit, a transfer switch, or anything that ties a battery into the apartment panel.
  • Skip it if you need a power bank from a kiosk tonight. These cartons leave on weekdays and usually take three to seven working days.
  • Skip it if you only have a post-office box, an APO address, or a home on a French overseas territory or a peripheral island the shipping page excludes.
  • Skip it if the job is a same-week balcony install that a landlord or an insurer will treat as work on the building.
  • Skip it if you want cash back after you already scuffed the case, lost a cable, or waited past the thirty-day change-of-mind window.
  • Skip it if you refuse to write support.eu@ecoflow.com and would rather shout at a US phone line from a French mobile.

Keep reading if you already know the box will live on the floor, that you will confirm the live tile before you pay, and that a change of mind is not a free trial. That's the long and short of it.

How the French checkout actually works

You pay on fr.ecoflow.com. Guest checkout works. An account is optional and useful if you want the app later. The pay screen advertised cards, PayPal, Klarna, and a three-payment split with no extra interest on the homepage the morning I checked. I did not finish a live charge, so I will not invent a processor that was not printed. Look at the buttons on the day you buy. If a wallet is missing, it is missing. I will not guess at a store card. Order questions after you pay go to order.eu@ecoflow.com, not to a shop counter that does not exist.

After you pay, you wait for a weekday dispatch. The shipping page says three to seven working days, that weekends and holidays do not move boxes, and that a busy week can add a few days. You get a tracking mail once it leaves. Tracking can sit quiet for forty-eight hours. If nothing updates for ten working days, write support.eu@ecoflow.com. Damaged carton: same address, inside three working days, packaging kept. I am not going to grade a hallway like a lab. Photograph the box before you peel the tape.

You can ask for a full refund by writing order.eu@ecoflow.com inside twenty-four hours. After that, and before the carton leaves, a cancel still goes through, but they take a processor slice. Past thirty days from shipment, they will not cancel. If they cannot ship, they email you; no reply for fifteen days and they cancel and refund on their own. I did not test a missing-address cancel, so I will not narrate one.

What you pay besides the tile

The outbound carton to a listed EU street is advertised as free. That is the outbound leg. The return form is the second honest object. I opened the refund page the same morning, and a change-of-mind send-back inside thirty days still puts you on the hook for return postage plus a small processor slice, which is the opposite of a free trial even when the homepage says you have a month. Defective returns ship on their label, once support agrees the fault is theirs.

  • RIVER 3 on 27 September 2026: about two hundred eighty euros on the French tile, against a higher list in the mid three hundreds. Stock moves. Confirm the live row.
  • DELTA 3 Classic the same day: about five hundred fifty to six hundred euros, depending on which collection page you opened.
  • Outbound postage to a listed EU street: advertised as free on a normal shop order. Islands, overseas territories, and post-office boxes are out.
  • Change-of-mind return from France on these two stations: about thirty euros of return postage, plus a processor slice of one and a half percent on cards, two percent on PayPal, or two point six percent on Klarna.
  • Cancel inside twenty-four hours: full refund, no slice. Cancel after that and before delivery: same processor slice, no postage yet.
  • Refund timing after they accept a return: they say they work it inside fourteen working days, then mail you. Cancelled orders: about seven working days.
  • Warranty if you bought on fr.ecoflow.com: five years on DELTA 3 Classic, twenty-four months on RIVER 3, thirty-six months if the buyer is in Spain. Register at the EU warranty page they print.

A thirty-day change of mind applies to EU orders placed on fr.ecoflow.com, not to a marketplace aisle. Write support.eu@ecoflow.com first and wait for a return number. Do not post a station without that number. You send the station, the cables, and the original packing. A scuffed case or a missing lead is how a change of mind turns into an argument.

Pay EcoFlow France for a carton you can carry to a fridge, not for a house you still have to rewire. Buy RIVER 3 or DELTA 3 Classic when you can wait a week and live with a floor box. If you need a licensed panel or a kiosk tonight, keep your money.

What still fails after the fridge clicks back on

Solar input is weather. A grey week in November will not fill a station the way a July balcony will. The shop will still sell you a fold-out panel. I will not promise a daily harvest. If you need a guaranteed hour count for one fridge model on one winter night, that figure is unpublished on the pages I read. Measure your own draw. I will not invent one. A Sunday spent watching the input number climb is more honest than a homepage tile that shows sun.

Weight is real. DELTA 3 Classic is the one you walk from the landing to the kitchen. RIVER 3 is the daypack. Neither one is a substitute for a licensed circuit if your building or your landlord treat a hardwired battery as work on the property. The limited warranty does not cover misuse, water, heat, a cracked case, or a third-party part they did not approve. The EU desk is the EU desk.

Support hours are office hours. Nine to five, weekdays, Central European Time. That is not a midnight outage line. The US phone number is English, and it is not a cheap call from a French mobile. I did not sit through a live chat on 27 September 2026, so the wait time stays unpublished. Refurbished rows sit on the same site with a shorter two-year cover. I am not pricing them.

Frequently asked questions

Will this keep a fridge cold through a Sunday outage?

Sometimes. A closed modern fridge that was already cold will sip. An old chest freezer that you keep opening will not. RIVER 3 is the wrong size for that job. DELTA 3 Classic is the one I would put next to the appliance if the outage is hours, not days, and if you are not also running a kettle off the same box. I did not sit in your kitchen with a meter. If you need a guaranteed night, that number is unpublished. Pre-charge the station. Leave the door shut.

Can I clip this onto a house circuit?

Not as a casual weekend job. These two stations are plug-in boxes. You put a fridge plug, a lamp, a router into their outlets. You do not clip them onto the apartment panel unless a licensed electrician is doing work your building already accepted. The homepage also sells kits that live closer to the building. Those are not RIVER 3 or DELTA 3 Classic. If a video tells you to backfeed a socket, stop. That is how people hurt a line worker and void a warranty in one afternoon.

How fast does a carton arrive, and where will it not go?

The shipping page still said three to seven working days for a normal EU street on 27 September 2026, from warehouses in Germany or the Czech Republic, on DPD, Dachser, or GLS. Weekends and holidays do not count. They will not post to a post-office box or an APO address. Peripheral islands and French overseas territories are excluded. The same page tells Austrians, Germans, Spaniards, and Italians to prefer their own shops. Belgium can use France. If your street is on Réunion, assume unpublished until support.eu@ecoflow.com says yes. I will not invent a ferry.

What does a change-of-mind return cost from France?

About thirty euros of return postage on these two stations, plus the processor slice I already named, if the unit is in good shape and you bought on fr.ecoflow.com inside the EU. You have thirty days from receipt. You write support.eu@ecoflow.com and wait for a return number. You send every cable and the original box. They say they work a refund inside fourteen working days, then they email you. If the unit is defective and they agree, they cover the label. A marketplace purchase uses that seller’s desk.

Which cards and wallets does the pay screen take?

The homepage advertised debit and credit cards, PayPal, Klarna, and a three-payment split with no extra interest. The live buttons on the pay screen are the contract. I did not complete a payment on 27 September 2026, so any wallet that is not printed there stays unpublished. If checkout rejects a card, try another method on that same screen or write order.eu@ecoflow.com. Gift cards and store credit were unpublished. Tax is included on the euro tiles I saw.

Do I need the app, and how do I cancel?

You can run either station from the buttons on the box. The EcoFlow app is how you watch input and register cover. For these two, the published cover is already on the warranty table if you bought from the French shop: five years on DELTA 3 Classic, two years on RIVER 3. Register anyway. To cancel, write order.eu@ecoflow.com inside twenty-four hours if you want the full amount back. After that, expect the processor slice until the carton is still in their hands. Once it has been on the road more than thirty days, they will not unwind it as a cancel. A return is a different letter, to support.eu@ecoflow.com, with a clock that starts when you receive the box.

Compare RIVER 3 and DELTA 3 Classic on fr.ecoflow.com, then read the shipping line for your street and the return postage before you click through.
